The condo was amazing. Look exactly liked the pictures. On the 8th out of 9 floors. Amazing views from the balcony and primary bedroom windows. Easy to access the room and was close to the beach. Great area of Myrtle Beach as well. Only downside was a few lightbulbs not in lamps or not working. Really a great place to our weeklong trip.
I would have given this 5 stars, but the building it’s in considers itself a resort, but runs more like a hotel. Front desk staff were not helpful upon checking in. Tried again and was told ‘we really should hire an activities director’ (we had kids with us). Pool lights around the last river were not all working, only one out of four fire pits had propane, the corn hole boards available were broken and the pool was not accessible the entire week due to scaffolding wires to paint the side of the building (why not wait until the off season?) were stretched across the pool. I saw on the Horizon website that it’s sister company was next door and that amenities could be shared, but when I asked about that I was told it wasn’t encouraged and only for certain condos (??? Again, not helpful).

Amazing View. Nice, quiet location great for early morning and evenings walks on and off the beach. Close to many great family activities.
There were, however, various maintenance, water damage, and mold issues that were disappointing to concerning. I would rent this unit again, once the maintenance and cleanliness issues have been addressed.
