APARTMENT HISTORICAL CENTER FLORENCE

Beautiful apartment, everything you could need in a stay, great communication w host and optimal location.

My husband, son and I stayed here for 4 nights. The location was great! The street is quiet and is walking distance to Ponte Vecchio. The apartment was clean and had enough space for the three of us. Annalisa was very responsive. Would recommend! Just be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs. :)

The apartment is in a good location. Close to the main attractions, but across the river from the more crowded sections of town.VRBO listing is not correct for several important details.Listing says there is an elevator. There is not. It is a 3rd floor walk up (4th floor to US visitors).Listing says kitchen has seating for 4. It does not. There is a small table with 3 chairs. Even if there were a 4th chair, there is not enough room for a 4th person to sit and eat at the table.Listing says “laundry facilities” and “washing machine”. They were not in the apartment and there was no information about how to find them, if they exist.The VRBO listing had WiFi log in information that was not correct.When we arrived, the kitchen trash can was still over half full with trash, there were empty olive oil and vinegar bottles in the dish drainer, dishes were still in the dish drainer, paper towel roll had no paper towels, there was a dirty glass in the bathroom, and many areas were quite dusty.The evening we arrived, we could not cook dinner because the gas range/oven would not light. Sent our host a message on VRBO asking about this, but didn’t hear back for 20 hours. Host responded that gas was probably turned off at the wall (it was).Need instructions on how to operate the oven as markings for the dials are worn away and not legible. The kitchen needs more dish/paper towels, a medium size pot with a lid that fits, and a larger frying pan that doesn’t tip over on the burner.
