About this house rental
Cumberland Cottage is tucked away on a quiet waterfront street that is steeped in history, with several famous old school Opry Stars living nearby. It's private and safe here. There is very little car traffic so it's great for walking around or riding bikes. We see deer, geese and turkey regularly, and enjoy fishing in the Cumberland River. Just down the street is a very quiet and historic park. It's a special neighborhood with friendly folks. Yet, it’s just minutes from the famous Gaylord Opryland Hotel, Opry Mills Mall and THE GRAND OLE OPRY. Within 4 miles there are over 2 dozen Restaurants & Nashville’s biggest Water Park. Downtown is only 18 minutes away, much closer than 95% of the waterfront homes in the greater Nashville Area. Two great golf courses are within 4 miles, uber and lyft are very familiar with the area, and a taxi service is based only 1.5 miles away.
Once you get here, you may not feel the need to leave. There's a fireplace in the living room and an outdoor fire bowl in the private backyard that's perfect for entertaining or relaxing. If you like to cook, you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen, with all the pots, pans, and small appliances of home. Outside on the back deck there’s a gas grill with a side burner where you fishermen can fry up the day’s catch.
Clean linens are provided on each bed. Cotton bath towels are also provided.
Each morning you’ll enjoy your breakfast and complimentary coffee in the sun-filled dining room, or take a walk down the quiet lane and listen to the birds and the river.
In the evening… enjoy the peace and quiet on the front or back porch. When it’s time to turn in each bedroom has an HD television, the first and second bedrooms sport new king beds and the third bedroom has a new queen bed. If you have a party of eight, two deluxe inflatable twin mattresses are available.
Other amenities include Washer/Dryer, Cable TV, Blu-Ray players, and High-speed WiFi.
All you need to bring is your clothes and your food. We provide coffee and some kitchen amenities. We go the extra mile for our guests and also provide eco-friendly bath soap, shampoo, and conditioner.

Jon is a wonderful host, very responsive & kind. This property is in a great location, close to anything you may want to do in the Nashville area. The neighborhood is quiet. We took daily walks with our pup down the street. We also saw deer every single day. The kitchen was a perfect size & had what we needed to make breakfast each morning.

Everything was wonderful-- clean, spacious yet cozy, modern kitchen, beautiful/quiet neighborhood great for walking and deer watching. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Location was very close to Opry and a welcome escape from (or balance to) the craziness of the city. Lots of delicious restaurants and music venues nearby.
