About this cabin rental
The log cabin, built in 2012 by the Amish, is located on the Root River Trail. The trail is great for biking, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, rollerblading, and walking. The cabin is 2.25 miles from Lanesboro via the trail. To access the trail, you just need to hop on your bike and ride down the road around the farmhouse.
The cabin is located on Hwy 250 3.75 miles by car north of Lanesboro with scenic bluff views. It is fully-furnished including two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and the other with a queen bed. There also is a futon and bunk beds.
This is a complete house with everything you need, except food. Enjoy the scenic bluff views while sitting out on the covered porch with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. There is plenty of room to bring family or friends or just a loved one to enjoy a romantic get away.

Such a fun place to stay. We enjoyed our time, and we really enjoyed the covered patio with the hanging chairs!

Cabin was comfortable and as described. Recycling was left in the kitchen upon check-in and some minor deep cleaning issues (like interior cob webs and fridge crumbs), but it didn’t prevent us from enjoying our stay.

The house was very nice and we would stay again it worked for us. I only issue we had was that the house is listed as a 4 bedroom. But there is actually 2 bedrooms with doors. The 3rd bedroom is a bed against the wall in the family room door stair. The 3rd bedroom is in the loft which is open to everyone on the main level. If you are trying to sleep and others are watching TV or talking it's kind of tough. No privacy in the 2 rooms, if that is what you want. Renee tells you her book to be careful on deck when it is wet because it is slippery. She was correct it rain one night, I slipped and fell flat on my back, be careful.
