Casa Dominican Caracol "Shell House" is a unique bungalow in a witty architecture style. The twelve-sided floor plan can also be found inside the bungalow. Centerpiece here is the well-equipped kitchen with gas stove and large fridge and freezer with ice cube tray.

On the front to the poolside you can see all the doors in the front of the bungalow a perfect view to the pool, ocean and the colorful nature around the house. The central kitchen divides the front into an open living and dining area. In the back of the bungalow on either side are the two bedrooms. One of these, with a king size bed (2mx2m) and private bathroom (toilet, shower, sink). The second bathroom (toilet, shower, sink) is available separately from the hallway. At dining area upstairs opens onto a 60 sqm gallery with double bed and plenty of space. All three bedrooms offer a large wall unit with plenty of storage space.

The terrace with a 14 meter long pool and sea view, offers enough space for a romantic dinner and sunbathing. On the back of the bungalow there is a small staircase to "Avatar", not observable, that invites you to relax. In the 1300sqm large garden you can easily attach a hammock and pick fresh limes.

During your stay there is a caretaker with good language skills in Spanish, French and English. In urgent cases, you can call directly to the owner via call or email. During your stay the bungalow is cleaned twice a week, clothes washing included. On request, more often.

Los Farallones invites for relaxing walks. A few hundred meters outside the area are shops for small purchases. By car is about 5 minutes to Cabrera. Up to 15 minutes to the fantastic Playa Grande, Rio San Juan, Playa Carleton, Playa Diamante and Playa Entrada. From Puerto Plata and Santo Domingo airport, we can offer you a taxi. However, it is necessary for your stay.

Just got back from almost a months stay at this wonderful property. We our DR regulars and have been going to the DR 15 plus years now and specifically the Cabrera area for 4 years. If you love outdoor living you will love this place, the ocean view is awesome, has very comfy pool side lounges, full size frig & stove, internet, cleaning lady provided 2x a week, 3 King size beds w fluffy pillows (hard to find in the DR), new outdoor gas grill and lots of hot H20 and steady power. There is a wonderful dail steady ocean breeze to all of house but, 2 bedrooms have nice cold air if you desire for sleeping. Pool and beautiful gardens are just a few steps from inside of house. House is located inside a friendly gated community with 24 hour security. I even stayed a week by myself before my husband arrived and I felt very safe. Owner is very easy to get a hold of and easy to work with, he has local property manager that speaks excellent English and responds promptly if a problem would arise. We will definitely be back in touch to book this house on our next visit to the DR. Thank you for the awesome trip Franz! Missing it already!
