The Queen Ann Mansion was the original home built on what was then farm land in 1905 and is now known as the Historic Wallace Woods neighborhood of Covington Kentucky. This piece of history is set up to host and entertain large or small groups alike with group size ranging from 6-26. This home includes 8 bedrooms, 5 full bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, dining space that will seat your entire group, and a large living room with a custom oversized U-shaped couch. The exterior of the home boast a "country" style front porch perfect for rocking and swinging, an outdoor living area that includes dining tables, fire pit, giant yard chess, connect 4 and a hot tub. There was adequate seating space for meals with a family group of 22, however the kitchen is tight to prepare food and the island that they have space for in a home of that age does not work well For a large group.You need an island of 2-3 x’s longer to set up a buffet to match the size of group that the house accommodates,but there is not space to make a bigger island.It is also very tight for parking because it is “ in the city”. In the past the homes we have rented mostly have been built in vacation destination areas ( for the purpose of VRBO’s) and had 6 master suite’s and 2 bunk rooms. So that is hard to live up to.We did NOT have private bathrooms with the bedrooms.I think one upstairs did?One bathroom on the main floor where everyone hung out was not adequate.We had to remind ourselves that This we are trying something different “ this year!”It didn’t have that “ safe “ gated neighborhood feel, and felt you needed to be with the kids if they went outside, but we don’t live in urban areas at home so that is just something that we are familiar with.The house “ Did” have charm and some beautiful leaded glass windows.We did love the story of the family that was posted and we value what they stand for. That was awesome.I think posting history of the house would be nice. We googled it. I think other people might like to know .The cleaning co could do a better job with details like the stove top!Overall we are glad we stayed!Thanks!

We had to travel to the area for a memorial service with several family members, flying in from all over the country. Brent was very accomodating, especially considering unstable weather and changing flights. The house itself was perfect, charming and everything we needed.

Each year we taking a 3 generation trip somewhere. It includes 9 adults & 13 children (ages 2-12). The kids remember the trips by the houses not the cities or activities that we do in the cities. This house was definitely a WIN! The yard is fenced in so the kids could play outside. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything that we would need to make large meals. I mentioned to the owner that the toaster wasn’t working & one showed up at the house via Amazon just a few hours later! The house was amazing! The owner communication was amazing! All around a great stay!!

Overall, we had a great stay at the Queen Ann mansion! Our family of 18 stayed there for a few nights. We enjoyed the large, open living spaces on the main floor, the yard with games, the beautiful features of the house, and the location. The layout was a bit tricky for our family groupings (three of the bathrooms are ensuite) but we made it work. We did have a few minor issues with the house while we were there, but the host communicated with us quickly, and offered to come fix them. The house is beautiful!

This was the perfect place for our extended family of 16. We enjoyed hanging out on the couch or chatting on the rocking chairs on the front porch. The house is in an awesome location where we easily traveled to the Arc Encounter and the Newport Waterfront. If we are in the area, we will definitely stay here again.

A gracious and beautiful old house with room for us to gather with our children, sons and daughters in law, and grandkids. Comfortable and big enough to spread out in. We had a lovely time and would definitely return. We loved the giant couch that provided room for all. We found Covington an interesting town. Wallace Woods area is gorgeous, and it is a short drive to the Ohio River and the downtown shops and restaurants. I would give an extra star if I could because the owner was very helpful and kind--extending our check-out time when a flight was canceled.

We loved the historical aspect of the house and area where it was located. All the upgrades to modernize the house was very stylish and complimented the aesthetics of it’s surroundings. It was very spacious and we loved the large surround sofas for family time and the many dining areas for our large group. We were very pleased and enjoyed our stay here.

Great house and great location. We had 21 of us gather groom various states to enjoy the Cincinnati area. Reds game, zoo, riverboat, etc. Along with family meals and playing games. The house was great and the location perfect. Communication with property manager count have been better! Highly recommend!!!

We had a great time. Venue was very nice for 7 couples. Had a minor AC issue which Brent addressed. Overall communication was excellent- did not have to go through a management answering system. Owner was very responsive and helpful. Would stay again!

This was such a neat property. Had plenty of room for our group. The place was neat as a pin and had lots of charm. Our group consisted of several elderly people and the stairs weren't too bad. Beds were comfortable. Showers were clean and had good pressure. Overall we lived it. PS: Weather was perfect and we really enjoyed the front porch.

The house was beautiful and well appointed for a large group. We had a great brothers and sisters get away there. Brent is a excellent, responsive host. The parking was as described, the older neighborhood is really lovely and we found nice restaurants close too. Getting into downtown Cincinnati is easy and short. A Kroger is extremely close too. It was fun to sit on the porch and in the living room to visit. The only thing that could have been improved was the quality of the beds which are a little older. Even so we'd stay there again because the overall property was so nice, convenient and good for a group.

We love the beautiful Queen Anne home! Plenty of room for all 16 of us who go to go. Comfortable furniture and beds, well stocked kitchen. The Hot tub was a big hit every evening after all the walking at the parks. Convenient to Interstate and all places we visited. The owner was just a call or e-mail away before and during stay. The street we were on was beautiful and I enjoyed the porch swing or rockers on front porch and watching people walking their dogs and babies on the side walk. A bit of stepping back in time. I would recommend staying here with a large group if you need to be in the area.

We traveled to Cincy with group of 6 for a large project installation. This house was a perfect home base for us. It would be cramped at 26 people, but for 6 (or even 8 or 9), it had plenty of space. The outdoor space and hot tub were wonderful, and a nicely appointed kitchen was enjoyed as well. My only complaint was that the TV setup is very complicated, and took quite a while to figure out. Some better instructions would be appreciated.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the home. It was well maintained and has a lot of space. This is an older home so do not expect perfection, but I would recommend it for your time in this area.

This house was perfect for our needs. It was light and airy and had sooooo much room. The bathrooms were a little strange as most of them were in rooms which could be either really great or really not depending on the group of people. However it worked perfectly for us. The parking was a bit of a problem with so many people and a maximum of 6 cars, which is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. If you have really more than 15 people staying, you might want to consider using a few larger vans or SUVs and finding a place off site to park the rest of the cars as there is virtually no way so many people will have so few vehicles.

We spent a great weekend with my old college housemates and their wives. It was great for us all to be able to stay in the same house again! The house is beautiful, inside and out. There is plenty of space and there are plenty of bedrooms, still the place is warm and inviting. The owners are easy to work with and they are meticulous in keeping things clean and in good order. This was our second year here for our 44th annual get together - everyone loves the house so we may be coming back next year!!

This house is absolutely beautiful with all the space you can imagine! The 8 bedrooms, big kitchen table and big sitting area were great for our group of six sisters, four sister-in-laws and our 91 yr. old Mother. Rooms are large, beds were comfortable and the location was convenient. Ate at the Hofbrauhaus, visited the Ark Encounter, made signs at Board n Brush, then went to a dinner and show at LaComedia on our way home from our 4 day/3nt. stay.

This house exceeded all expectations. We had a large group fly in from all over the country and it could not have accommodated everyone better. It was very clean and cozy and is perfect for large groups. I would recommend this house to anyone who is staying in the Cincinnati area. It is also so conveniently located and I can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much Emily! The other thing I was extremely impressed by is the woman who was cleaning the house before and after our stay. She was so kind and even reached out when someone left a coat. Genuinely great people.

This gorgeous mini mansion was just perfect for our wedding. Everything was spotless and Emily’s instructions were easy to follow. The caterer even commented on how perfect the kitchen was. We were surprised how warm the house was being that old. This home made our beautiful wedding an even more treasured memory. We talked about coming back for family reunions. Thank you so much!!

Beautiful home & well-appointed. Our entire party enjoyed the house. There were a few problem areas; a couple rickety porch rockers, old fixtures, etc., but nothing that affected our stay. Just some things to watch out for. Otherwise, DELIGHTFUL!
