Magnificent 5 bedroom villa (10 beds) in Almancil, very close to the beaches

There was an awesome house, very clean and nice facilities not so far from a few restaurants and a small grocery store. Only negative thing was the aircon which made a lot of noise in one of the bedrooms.

This is a lovely spacious property set approximately a 5 minute drive from Almancil. The agents were very accommodating and allowed us an early check in.It is a large villa with plenty of room for a large group . Initially we were very concerned because the next door villa with which it shares a fore court was being extensively renovated and it was very noisy . Then when this stopped a few days later building work started on the large plot opposite . Fortunately this only impacted us for one day but there will inevitably be building work ongoing on that plot for some time to come which some guests might find disrupting. The house was reasonably well equipped but it could do with some new glassware and some regular ( as opposed to steak ) knives. It also lacked any plastic plates/ beakers for children to use or to use around the pool. The property was very clean when we checked in. The bedding and towels were clean but quite well used and not as luxurious as provided in many other houses we have rented . A few more pillows would also have been good as those in one of the rooms were very thin. The pool area was spacious and very well maintained and the pool itself was very clean . The whole family had great fun using in . As another reviewer has mentioned a second parasol would have been good but not essential. Communication with the managers/agents was efficient .Overall we had a lovely time in the house and would have no hesitation in booking it again.

We stayed at this lovely villa as a family group of 10, and it was a fantastic experience overall. The villa comfortably accommodated all of us, with spacious bedrooms and stretching views from the balconies. The house was clean, tidy, and very well maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made preparing meals easy, and the indoor living areas were perfect for relaxing together. Outside, the pool was a real highlight—large enough for all of us to enjoy at once—and the surrounding gardens were beautifully tended. We also appreciated the location. While peaceful and private, we found it easy to get around thanks to Uber, and there were a few local bars, restaurants, and a small supermarket within 15 minute walking distance. There were a few small areas that could be improved. A welcome pack with essentials like water and milk would have been appreciated after a long journey. During the peak heat (around 40C), we found the lack of shade a bit challenging—there was only one parasol, so more shaded seating would have made a big difference. Also, more plastic cups for outside drinks would have been helpful. Lastly, the beds had footboards and were quite short, which wasn’t ideal for the taller members of our group.That said, these were relatively minor issues in what was otherwise a fantastic stay. We made some amazing memories here and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this villa to other large groups or families looking for a relaxing, comfortable base in the area.
