About this apartment rental
Location! Location! Location! This unit is part of The Landing Condominium Complex and is located just off Highway 7 on the main channel of Lake Hamilton. It is very easy to find and close to Hot Springs attractions and amenities including Oaklawn! Short walking, driving or boating distance to many restaurants, marinas, shopping, nightlife, etc. Unit is not directly on the water as it sits in the second row of buildings but has a partial view of the lake from the balcony. Unit is on ground floor on parking lot level so no steps to negotiate! While not on the water, it is directly adjacent to the pool and tennis court, which is not the case with the waterfront buildings. Complex provides direct access to the lake with a gazebo for common use. Boat slip not included but can be made available upon request for a fee.
The condominium is approximately 1100 square feet with two bedrooms and two full baths. It was fully remodeled and refurnished in April 2015. The master suite has a king bed, vanity area, full master bathroom with tub/shower, 48" flat screen television, double closet and sliding door access to the balcony. The guest bedroom has one king bed with full sized closet and a 48" flat panel TV. The kitchen has modern appliances including microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher, cookstove, Keurig coffee maker as well as being fully equipped with all cookware, dishes and utensils. The living room has a 55" flat panel TV as well as a beautiful view of Lake Hamilton and the incredible sunsets.
The Landing is a gated condominium complex with a swimming pool, tennis courts and ample guest parking. A gazebo on the water is available to guests for fishing, picnics, or just watching the lake activities. Holiday fireworks displays can be seen from property!
Many vacation rentals on Lake Hamilton are not easy to get to, don't have a view of the main channel of the lake and are not close to all that Hot Springs has to offer. This unit has all this and more!

We enjoyed our stay and this was actually our third time staying at this property overall, just our first time in this particular unit. One of the main reasons we continue to come back is because we always feel safe here. The gated community is a huge plus, and the location is very convenient.The condo itself was very clean, easy to access, and the ground-level entry made unloading and loading luggage incredibly convenient. The air conditioning worked great, the couch was comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with pretty much everything we needed for the weekend.We also appreciated the printed instruction sheet with the Wi-Fi password, amenities information, and checkout instructions. Having everything clearly laid out made the stay feel very easy and organized.A couple things that could be improved: blackout curtains in the bedrooms would make sleeping much better, especially in the mornings. Also, the primary bathroom shower drain was draining very slowly, so water pooled around our ankles while showering - so we used the hallway bathroom to shower as that one drains properly. The primary bed was comfortable but the sheets/pillows weren't great.Overall, though, the condo was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our weekend getaway!

This is a cute 2 bedroom with great King sized beds in each room! Perfect for 2 couples or a family of 4! It isn’t lake front but has a good water view and easy to find! It’s close to any place you’d want to eat, Walmart and the horse races! The Hosts Steve and Annie respond to any text promptly and were very accommodating! Definitely on our favorites list for Hot Springs and we would book again without question!

We had a good stay overall and the property has a lot of potential—it’s in a great location and was comfortable for our needs. With a few improvements, it could easily be a 5-star experience.A few things to note for future guests and the owner: • There were ants in the kitchen during our stay, which made food prep a bit challenging. • The shower did not have soap provided, which would have been helpful after travel. • The window coverings, especially in the bedroom, don’t fully cover the windows—blackout shades would make a big difference for sleeping. • The checkout instructions asked us to start a load of towels, but no laundry detergent was provided. • Noise carries quite a bit from the unit above—you can hear footsteps and even conversations, so something to be aware of if you’re sensitive to sound.None of these were deal-breakers, but addressing them would really elevate the experience. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the space—just a few tweaks would make it excellent.

I like the location of the property, however, it really needs a deep cleaning and not just a surface cleaning. The kitchen and bathroom cabinets need to be painted and cleaned, as well as the laundry closet. We found no dish detergent but we can live with that. A quick trip to Harps was sufficient.
The decor is beautiful and well paired with the chosen theme. The sofa and 2 chairs need to be cleaned. There was an ant invasion in the kitchen.
I think that this property would be a 4 star if it were to get a deep cleaning.
There was alot of construction in most of the units which can be quite noisey. The workers had wires and boards in our walkway and we had to pick up their water bottles after their day was over. I wish it was stated in the description before we rented it.
Overall, I would not stay here again.
