Waterfront Vacation Paradise!!! This is it, the place you've been looking for. A million dollar view of the main channel of Lake Barkley. The only thing better is relaxing on the patios watching the beautiful sunsets. You are in the middle of everything outdoors. Go out and do it all: boating, fishing, hiking, hunting, swimming, etc or just sit back and relax and watch from the best place on the lake.
The recently remodeled (2012) waterfront house sits in a quite neighborhood on a bluff overlooking the east shores of Land Between the Lakes. The yard has shade trees , flowers, birdhouses, flagpole, and swing. Patios with 2 tables/chairs, swing, charcoal grill, gas grill and fire pit. Concrete driveway with parking for 2 vehicles and 2 boat trailers. Carport for car/boat or use as covered porch. Two bedrooms (1 queen, 1 full size), Living room with electric log fire place, love seat makes a twin bed, couch makes a full bed, fully equipped kitchen and 1 1/2 bathroom with everything you need. Utility room has washer, dryer, and extra fridge.

Great place to stay on Lake Barkley. We came down to explore the area for possible retirement options. The house and the views were great. The house came well equipped with everything you need. The owner was very nice and gave us great info on the surrounding areas Very quiet and peaceful. Had a very nice stay.

I highly recommend it! This hidden gem is perfect for unwinding in a picturesque setting. From arrival, the stunning riverfront view from the den, patio and bedroom captivated me. Watching commercial vessels and pleasure boats pass by added to the beautiful backdrop of the vibrant fall landscape. The cottage is clean and well supplied. The host was exceptional, offering insights into local attractions and activities. The outdoor space is fantastic, featuring a patio with a fire pit and both gas and charcoal grills. There is also a carport that comes in handy during inclement weather. The well equipped kitchen makes cooking easy. The nearby Boots Randolph golf course was a great bonus too. The reasonable pricing for such a wonderful property made it an excellent value. I am looking forward to my next visit. If you are seeking a serene getaway stunning views and warm hospitality, this rental is for you. Don’t hesitate to book; you won’t be disappointed!

This property on Lake Barkley has pretty much everything it claims to have. The neighborhood is good, views are beautiful, and accommodations are as listed and described. We did enjoy our stay and thought the place was a good value. FYI: The half bath is really a toilet and sink in the laundry room which is located in the carport. The (unidentified) entrance door to that room was stuck so bad I thought it was locked. The toilet and sink are convenient to the patio, but not the bedrooms late at night. Everything we used seemed to be clean, but the claim of "everything you need" did not include a bar of bath soap or body wash. There were, however, at least six sets of salt/pepper shakers, and several spices, but no condiments or coffee except for instant decaf. TV in the main room was well equipped. Generally, the property seems well serviced for day-to-day rentals, but seems as though nobody is responsible for the place's long term building maintenance or improvement of the external features such as patio surfaces, fence repair, and corroded cedar shingle siding. ALSO, FYI, there is no (visible or obvious) house number to match the address given, so you might be a bit confused at first. The photo online is accurate enough to make the connection, but the mailbox next to the driveway must belong to someone else.
All in all, we were satisfied with the place at that price, and I would not discourage anyone from going there; just don't expect more than adequate.
