Situated directly ON the Atlantic Ocean, "Family Tides” is an ocean-to-river beach house / modernist vacation retreat where Malibu chic meets Milan fashion in the idyllic Southeast Florida warmth & sunshine. The perfect beach retreat for large or multi-generational families (or groups of friends) to reconnect in a fun-yet-relaxing vacation setting. This three-level house easily sleeps over a dozen based on bed-count in private bedrooms, and even more with our collection of rollaway beds, cots, and sleeper sofas. Each floor features its own living area with couch/chairs/TV/kitchenette. Everyone comes together on the middle floor, where the giant double-oven kitchen overlooks both a large riverfront dining room and gorgeous oceanfront living room and outdoor ocean deck with hot tub (complete with easy-to-use grille & patio furniture).

Family Tides exceeded our expectations. From a fully stocked kitchen to paddle boards and kayaks, from bathroom toiletries to family board games, dominoes and cards.... ping pong, water shoes, mask/snorkels, bikes...i could go on! Publix, cvs and Walgreens less than 20 minutes away. It was a perfect family weekend for my wifes 60th birthday! My eldest son loved fishing in the river, caught 2 snooks. He released them to live on of course.

..very nice ..only 2 complaints... lock on front door took 2 to 4 trys to work... recumbent bike doesn't work... adjustment also painted shut on bike leaving strong paint fumes in garage...very nice overall...

You could walk out the front and stand in the ocean or head out the back and walk across the street to the river to paddleboard and Kayak. We stay in VRBO's a lot and this home was stocked with supplies like I have never seen before. We grilled out every night and were able to spend real quality time with our friends and family. You will not be disappointed with your stay here. The only words of caution are that the stairs are narrow and steep, we kept my Mom on the main level to minimize the number of times she had to go up or down them. Regarding the stairs, they do have baby gates so you don't have to worry about small children.
