It's a lovely house in a quiet neighborhood, featuring adorable furniture, a great kitchen, and a huge, bright dining room that's to die for.The back garden has potential but is pretty neglected and not usable. You can tell some parts of the house have been modernized and others have not. The downstairs tub is badly in need of repair/replacement. It was pretty shabby. And, the water pressure downstairs is nonexistent. I felt like I was in a youth hostel in Eastern Europe.The walk into town is farther than you think it will be. There are schools between the house and the town square, which require maneuvering around. Also, it's not advertised that the owners live right next door, which could be a dealbreaker for some, so be aware.Cleanliness was not 100%. There were hairs in the bathroom that were not mine, and the wine glasses and coffee mugs were dusty. I needed to wash them before using them.On the plus side, the beds were insanely comfortable. We slept like babies. And, it's so true about the deer. You see them outside ALL the time. It was adorable. It's serviceable for a short stay but nothing luxurious. With a little time, effort, and money it could be amazing.

We stayed in the adorable hilltop cottage for a long weekend to celebrate a special birthday with friends. When we arrived, we were greeted by four beautiful deer in the yard. So fun! Loved the home and our time in Paso. This is an older home and has some little nuances that come with quaint older cottages, but the character and charm were well with it. The communication and speed of response from the hosts were great and prompt, always greatly appreciated.

The Cornerstone Cottage truly felt like home away from home. Every room is so cozy. Great decor. Functional fire place for ambiance and heat, as well as air conditioners to cool the family room and bedrooms on warmer days. The kitchen is stocked with so many useful pots, pans & utensils. So appreciated! The neighborhood is so peaceful. Everything was simply perfect. Thank you!

Wonderful house in a quiet area. Overall well equipped. Walking distance to DT Paso (I disagree with previous posts that the house is not in walking distance - its only a 15-20 min no-rush walk, which is really nothing). Nice garden with frequent deer visits. Very clean. Great communication with the host. Plenty of parking space. I would definitely return!

Our timing was incredible because every day of our mid February visit was over 70 degrees. So nice to stay in a quiet neighborhood in a quant old house with nice, friendly owners. The house was spacious for a 2 bed/2 bath. Another plus was that a family of deer visited us everyday along with several very shy quail.Over 250 unique wineries and tasting rooms provide an almost unlimited source of entertainment.

kitchen fully equipped with all you need. don’t shower at the same time.. the water temperature fluctuates dramatically. the downstairs shower is very weak. the house is quite drafty, but once you get the heaters get going it warms up. it is not really walkable to downtown. overall cute charming place would stay again. saw a cute family of deer each morning

I thought enjoyed my stay at the cottage. I first noticed how cute the house is then I was so impressed by the cleanliness. The owners were so thoughtful and had a very informative book with clear directions and food and entertainment options. I look forward to staying here again.

Stayed 5 nights while visiting local wineries. The location was perfect. It's so well appointed that we only went out to eat once. Thank God the A/Cs worked very well—it got up to 105 while we were there. It's a lovely cottage in a nice neighborhood with deer running through the property often. We will definitely return. We loved the fact it was pet-friendly too.

The description and photos, except the back yard, were all accurate. The yard is not as photographed - not as large as it appears in the photos and furniture missing. It is also not an enclosed yard so if you have dogs you need to be mindful where they wander. Other than that, it was perfect for our needs, roomy and comfortable. The property manager was very responsive and helpful.

The cottage was impeccably clean. It was very quaint inside and out. We loved seeing the deer, nestled in the grass in the front yard. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. They had the best cooking utensils. We did not have any problems whatsoever! You could tell that the house really took pride in their home and love having guestswe would love to stay there again.

Property was great! Clean, and spacious- as advertised and equipped with a/c and fans for those hot days in summer. We enjoyed the convenience of being close to the restaurants, wineries, etc. Beds were squeaky, and some vanity lights didn’t work (or at least we couldn’t easily figure out how to make them work). Overall, no major issues and we would definitely stay here again.

We decided to do a quick adults only weekend getaway to Paso and found this great place that was perfect for our group. The location was far enough from downtown to get some quiet and close enough to walk to get coffee, a quick bite, or just a nice stroll. Cobblestone Cottage was filled with comfort and charm inside and out. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the neighborhood deer who came by to visit each day. The cottage had all the amenities we could imagine, cozy beds, and a wonderful fireplace. Our hosts were super friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the short walk to town, the picturesque neighborhood, the local wineries, and Sensorio (not to be missed).
