About this apartment rental
We are offering our well-maintained oceanfront studio condominium located just 75 yards from the water. F-9 is a bright studio unit at Sand Dollar Resort. The kitchen area has been totally remodeled and updated with completion in October 2022. The new white kitchen provides more cabinet space, more drawer space, more outlets and more counter space which is finished in Corian. Also new in 2022 is cooktop, kitchen stools and counter height table, couch, Sealy Posturepedic pillow top mattress and LG split unit air conditioner. The ample bathroom was previously remodeled with updated wall and floor tile as well as lighting, all fixtures and large glass block shower. This unit is tastefully decorated with tropical artwork. Automatic hot water heater installed so you won't run out of hot water. Other appliances/amenities include a 43-inch smart TV, new oven in 2021, full size stainless French door refrigerator with filtered water and automatic ice maker and dishwasher. There are also two ceiling fans in the unit and one on the lanai. The covered lanai has a table and chairs and ample hooks for hanging wet gear. There are also 2 chaise lounge chairs provided for relaxing in the sun. This unit is quite comfortable and in very good condition.
Enjoy beautiful sunsets from the condo or within steps on the waterfront terrace. Sand Dollar Complex has restaurant/bar on the property and many others within close walking distance. Dive Friends is the on site dive operator with dive pier and boat dives offered. Bank adjacent to the property with an ATM. Shopping center across the street with drug store.

For coffee drinkers we have both a drip coffeemaker and Keurig mini. For those who favor Keurig, we recommend you bring along K cups as they are hard to find on island.

This property is a fantastic location on Bonaire with the dive shop next door. Dock access of the Bari Reef is great. An abundance of waterfront to view and swim. We enjoyed the studio apartment. Supplies for coffee, cooking were great as we prefer to eat in after diving all day.

Steps to swim and snorkeling. Very nice new kitchen with ice maker, nice appliances. Comfy queen bed. Nice TV, spacious bathroom/shower. Nice patio with clothesline, comfy furniture. Plenty of electricity outlets.

This unit was perfect for my husband and I. Exactly as described, clean and modern.We appreciated the well stocked kitchen, and the bed was very comfortable! Sand Dollar itself is in a great location; close to town, yet far enough away to be quite and peacful. The owner Mitzi responds quickly to inquiries. Having the dive shop and private dock is the icing on the cake!

The Good: Mitzi is very responsive and informative on procedures.
The Bad: The pictures of the pool are very deceptive. The pool stayed an uninviting shade of green and reeked of chlorine the whole time (10 days) we were there. You could not ever see the bottom of the pool.
The condo itself is in need of attention. There is an issue with the plumbing and the shower does not drain well. I was told at checkout that they will be digging up the entire sewage and plumbing system for the unit. It definitely smelled bad.
The picture of the bed makes it look larger than it actually is. It is a double with an old mattress and a piece of foam padding on top of the old mattress. I slept on the couch, which was more comfortable than the bed. That was not something anyone should have to do on vacation with their spouse.
The oven is a pain to use and I wondered if the sagging cabinet above the sink might give way and collapse. The faucet in the kitchen is not in proper working order.
