Description: detached three bedroom quiet house with extensive gardens and terrace with sea view
Position: by the sea; from the gardens there is direct access to the beach.

Upper floor: open space dining-living room (sq. meters 30 approx) with air conditioning, satellite tv and large French windows to the terrace; kitchen with gas hob, fridge-freezer and microwave; mezzanine (sq. meters 8 approx), with option of adding an extra single bed (on request);
Basement: utility room, with washing machine and storage space for beach equipment
External space: Large terrace (sq. meters 30 approx) with sea views, barbeque, table and chairs for 6-8 people, gardens with grassy area, shower, recliner chairs, umbrella, children toys and paddling pool (on request). Foothpath to the private access to the beach.

This property is amazing in many ways.
First, it has a direct access to the beach, and this particular part of a beach in Costa Rei is less crowded. It has all the facilities needed for the beach like umbrellas, toys for kids, etc.
2 showers in the garden with cold and warm water are very convenient.
The only 2 things this property is lacking is A/C in the living room and Wi-Fi. Regarding the A/C, the living room is located on the upper lever and got extremely hot with no possibility to cool it down, and during our stay the outside temperature reached +38 at times. With WI-FI, I think it is now a basic necessity and convenience like electricity. You can hook up to Costa Rei paid public wi-fi, but at 15 Euros per week per device, if you have a family of 5 with 10 devices and you stay for 2 weeks - do the math.
Even said that, I still give this property and its nice and responsive owner Marco, a 5-star rating, because it is magnificent. I just hope that Marco will take into account recent climate change and change in people's communication patterns, and makes it even better.

We had a great time, the house is fantastic and suited our family perfectly. We have a 1 yr old and 4 yr old. Bedrooms great, main bedroom has air conditioning as does lounge and kitchen area. Raised section above kids bedroom had lot's of books and toys to use, nice to have separate area for playing. The view from the terrace was brilliant as was the garden. The garden is well looked after and has lots of bits to use to keep kids entertainmed in the garden and on the beach. The beauty was the wonderful sandy beach and crystal clear warm waters. We would definitely like to return and thank Davide for his prompt and clear communication and for welcoming us to his family home and for leaving snacks, milk and wine, much appreciated.
