About this villa rental
This Villa, located about 8 km
(less than 5 miles) from the walls of Lucca, has recently been completely renovated. It boasts WiFi,air conditioning and smart TV in each room.
On the ground floor it consists of a spacious entrance hall, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, two living rooms, tavern, garage and laundry room.
A beautiful staircase leads to the ample first floor which consists of four double bedrooms with two bathrooms, one of which is in the main bedroom.
Outside there is a private swimming pool, surrounded by a flower garden, and tall trees, ample parking, all fenced and accessible via an automatic gate.
The house is 3 km from Capannori toll of A11 highway.
It is quiet despite being very close to the center of the town of Porcari where you can find supermarkets, bars, restaurants, pharmacies and shops within walking distance. In the little square, about 100 meters from the house, you will also find electric cars charging points.
The location is ideal for daytrips to the main art cities of Tuscany: Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Siena,all reachable by car or by public transport (bus station 300 m away, the station railway is 1 km from the house).
The northern coast of Tuscany can be reached in 30/50 minutes with by car. Here you will have the chance to visit the renowned seaside resorts of Versilia, like Viareggio, Lido di Camaiore, Forte dei Marmi (one of the most luxurious seaside towns in Italy).
Continuing further north (90 minutes by car) you will find the spectacular and evocative villages of the Ligurian coast known for the beauty of their views: LE CINQUE TERRE (Riomaggiore, Vernazza, Corniglia, Monterosso, Manarola) and the Gulf of Poets (village of Portovenere and Palmaria isle) .
Finally, at the same time you will be able to enjoy the Apuan Alps and book visits and guided tours to the famous white marble quarries of Carrara (location: Colonnata, Fantiscritti, Campocecina), known since the ancient Romans. These are the marbles Michelangelo and other Renaissance artists used for their famous sculptures.

What a fantastic villa. Well equipped kitchen, living spaces inside and out and a variety of socialising spaces.The pool area is a beautiful sun trap which gets sun all through the day making pool days perfect for the children. Addes bonus of pool toys for all ages.Lorella was an excellent host providing all the essentials at check in :) Would love to stay here again.

Our stay in Lorella’s house was just perfect. Beautiful villa with a fabulous pool, welcome drinks and snacks were fully stocked and all the usual condiments for cooking were high quality and plentiful. We received a very warm welcome from Lorella and her family, they were fabulous hosts. We feel we arrived as guests but left as friends.Location was perfect for our trips to Florence, Lucca and Pisa, very close to the A11 autostrade, a great supermarket within 5 minutes by car and the local coffee shop was brilliant for yummy breakfast pastries and coffee.Highly recommended. If only we could award more than 5 stars!
