About this apartment rental

Welcome to my Apt. 7! This is a 2bedroom apartment of 65m2, sleeping 6 persons.
- Kitchen (induction stove, fridge, freezer, microwave oven etc)
- Master bedroom: Queen bed size 160cm x 200cm for 2 persons + bunk bed for 2 persons
- 2nd bedroom: Queen bed size 160cm x 200cm for 2 persons
- Living room with dining seating for 6 persons
- Built-in Air-conditioning
- Wifi, cable TV, 42inch flat screen TV
- Washing machine with dryer function (tumbler)
- Bathroom with WC and shower
- One extra separate WC ( = 2 WCs in total)

- Perfect infrastructure: underground line U4 station Meidling Hauptstrasse around the corner. This is a direct line to the city centre in just 8 - 10min. (To station Karlsplatz/Oper = 5 stops)
- Walking distance to Austria´s most visited tourist attraction: Place Schönbrunn & the Imperial Gardens!

Decent place conveniently located near U-bahn. We got in much later than expected and our taxi pulled up to a verbal then physical altercation between 2 guys across the street, which wasn't a great first impression. We had clear code/lockbox instructions, but there was no light on in the doorway entrance to see. We used our cell phone flashlights and successfully accessed the door. Strange that there were no sensor lights though throughout the hallway, courtyard, or stairs. It was very dark. Place was clean and looked as pictured, but main room smelled of smoke. Also, we booked this apartment because it had air conditioning, but the unit is located in the kitchen, so it does not reach the far bedroom. The kitchen would be very cold, and the first bedroom was a good temperature. However, even with moving the portable fan into the hallway to try and draw the air to the back bedroom (where 3 of us were sleeping), it didn't work well. Neighborhood was fine in the daytime/evening for the rest of our stay, so the initial altercation was saw may have just been random. I would say it is an average apartment very conveniently located within walking distance to Schonbrunn Palace, but I would probably stay closer to the main attractions on my next visit. Host was communicative prior to our arrival and gave good instructions/advice on how to get there, etc. so no issues there at all. We had a great visit to Vienna.
