Book your stay at this cozy mountain cottage! The residence features an indoor fireplace, rustic wood surfaces, mid-century touches, and a layout allowing for privacy between the upstairs and downstairs sleeping areas with queen beds in each of the three bedrooms. Fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances downstairs; flat screen TV upstairs in living room. Relax at the fire pit while roasting marshmallows after a day on the slopes of Appalachian Ski Mountain. Sip coffee on the porch listening to the sounds of the property’s babbling brook. If you need to work, there is high speed internet and a separate home office. Just minutes away from hiking, skiing, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and all that Boone/Blowing Rock has to offer. We had a lovely time in this home. I would say the bathrooms are tiny and need some updating. The table and tall chairs in the kitchen were pretty wobbly and need tightened. Perhaps a different table would work better in that space. Our bed was a (very) firm mattress, it took some getting used to, it kind of felt like I was sleeping on a brick. Overall, though we loved the space in the home compared to staying at a hotel.

Everything was great from the accuracy of the listing to the excellent communication from our host, which made our amazing trip even more awesome! We are grateful for all the suggestions for adventures that our host provided and checked most of those off our activities bucket list! This property was a convenient location for everything we needed and wanted to do. We would definitely rebook if we ever return to the area! Thank you for everything!

Property location was good. House was clean and recently updated. My only complaint is the mattresses need to be replaced. I slept in the downstairs bedroom and the mattress sagged in the middle and provided very little support. I notified the host and she said she would look into it after our stay.
