About this apartment rental
Our bright, friendly and newly renovated apartment is located in Ehingen at the foot of the mountain between Hessel Dinkelsbühl, Gunzenhausen and Oettingen. She is very quiet, no through traffic, within walking distance to a nice playground.
The apartment consists of a floor and a DG.
On the first floor, about 70 m2, there is a large friendly living and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen (incl. Nespresso machine), two bedrooms and a bathroom. The bathroom has bath, shower and toilet. A separate toilet is also available.
The living room contains a comfortable leather sofa, a TV and a wood stove. The dining area is equipped with an extendable table for up to 12 people. In addition, children's highchairs available.
The use of the Internet via WLAN.
The DG consists of two more large bedrooms.
Additional cot and toys are on request also available.
On the spot: doctor, dentist, bakery with grocery store, butcher with in-house slaughter

We booked this property for an extended family holiday with 4 adults and 2 children. The apartment was spotless, beautifully appointed and in a lovely little village in a central location to many of the local attractions including Nördlingen, Dinkensbühl and Altmuhlsee. The village itself is picturesque with several excellent gastehaus restaurants (we are at the Löwen several times - absolutely delightful!!)
The villa had many wonderful features including balcony with views of Hesselberg mountain and plenty of toys for the children.
Our hosts were very friendly and helpful.
We will be back for another visit one day!!

Ehingen is a good location for seeing sights along the Romantic Road. It's a bit off the beaten track, but within easy driving distance of Dinkelsbuhl, Rothenburg, Harburg, Nordlingen, Ansbach, and other places. We were six people -- two grandsons (4 and 7), my daughter and her husband and the two of us. The apartment is large -- four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and lots of living space on the upper two floors of the house. The house backs onto the town's playground area so the boys loved it. We also visited the PlayMobil Park, Nuremberg (DB Museum, Children's Museum), and LegoLand. We would highly recommend this location in Ehingen -- lots to see and do in the area, and the Oberhausers are terrific hosts.
