About this house rental
Family house in the heart of the village, very quiet and sunny with panoramic views of the Vercors, the forest of Saoû and the 3 becs, Crest and its keep, the valley of the Drôme.
This house is our second home (we live there 5 months a year), It is perfectly equipped to host family or friends reunions.
Leaning against the ramparts of the 22nd century, the renovation has made it possible to preserve the old spiral staircase, the vaulted rooms on the first floor (very cool rooms in summer and well tempered in winter) as well as arched stone doors. Our house is located in the castle district, the oldest district of the village, with cobbled pedestrian streets, alleys with arcades, traboules and pedestrian paths.
On the first floor:
- 1 large living room including
* a kitchen area (electric oven with convection heat, microwave, LV 14 pers., sink 2 basins, 4-burner induction hob + 2 gas burners, fridge-freezer, food processor, small appliances, crockery and cookware in quantity, table and kitchen linen, basic grocery (see description below), a preparation pool with folding table,
* a fireplace with insert, wood provided, cocooning area with 1 sofa,
* an extendable table with chairs (10 people),
- 1 music and multimedia lounge (piano, stereo, TV, DVD player, library, board games), 1 large sofa, armchairs and coffee tables, POE Wifi connection,
- 1 terrace (I/O) enclosed in stone walls with 1 large teak table with extensions (12 people), 12 teak chairs, charcoal barbecue and electric barbecue.
- An individual studio - directly adjoining the house by the living room and serving as an entrance - with 1 room of 45 M2 bench, table, chairs, library, board games + 1 small kitchen + 1 shower room with WC + 1 small south-facing terrace under the vine.
On the 1st floor:
- 1 master bedroom (East and South): double bed (140) with integrated bathroom (whirlpool bath, 2 washbasins on furniture, hairdryer) and air conditioning, large cupboards, chests of drawers, armchair and chair, TV.
- 1 bedroom (South) with 1 double bed (140) and 2 bunk beds (2X90), large closet,
- 1 toilet with washbasin,
- 1 technical room (gas boiler, storage of household products and cleaning appliances, storage: toilet paper, paper towels, light bulbs and small DIY equipment).
On the 2nd floor:
- 1 bedroom (East and South) with 1 double bed (160) and an integrated shower room, wardrobe, cupboard, Provençal atmosphere.
- 1 separate shower room with WC + washbasin on furniture, hair dryer,
- 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds of 90X200, 1 washbasin on furniture, 2 very large cupboards with a supply of linen for the house.
- 1 large air-conditioned office of 25 M2,
- livebox with Wifi connection

Facilities for BBs and toddlers
Market on Sunday mornings. Markets in Crest on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Large flea market every 5th Sunday of the month. Supermarkets 8 km away (1 in Loriol, 1 in Crest). Organic or sustainable food nearby.
In the village centre:
- Large and very well stocked mini-market with integrated butcher's shop - quality of products - in season local fruits, vegetables and cheeses, beautiful cellar,
- 2 bakeries, 1 with pastry shop,
- Press and tobacco house, post office,
