About this house rental
An immaculate remodeled home at the end of a quiet cul de sac in Rolando. With a Modern interior and exterior, no expense has been spared. Upon opening the front door you`ll be welcomed by a bright open floor plan. Flowing from living to dining and into the kitchen, equipped with a gas stove and new stainless steel appliances. There are two bedrooms and a full office. The uniquely funky bathroom really pops with character. If you enjoy a large multi level outdoor space, you`ve hit the jackpot!
The first thing you`ll notice when you pull up to the house is how incredibly peaceful the surroundings are. The living room has two couches, the kitchen is stocked with everything you`ll need, and it even hasa formal dining room with seating for 4. The third bedroom has been converted into an office which already have a nice chair, desk, and a monitor to plug into. The bedrooms each have queen beds in them. The smart TV in the master bedroom gets all of the major streaming services.
The backyard is spacious and multi leveled. It even has a fenced off area to grow herbs, fruits, and vegetables.
You will have private access to the entire unit.

This is in a very quiet and peaceful residential neighborhood.
We recommend having your own car, but if you ever need them, Ubers and Lyfts are readily nearby and available.

Just a short drive away, you`ll find Balboa Park, a cultural haven filled with beautiful gardens, museums, and the world-famous San Diego Zoo. The park is perfect for a day of exploration, with its stunning architecture and lush greenery.
If you`re in the mood for some sun and surf, Mission Beach and Pacific Beach are nearby, offering sandy shores, lively boardwalks, and plenty of dining options. For a more relaxed beach experience, head to La Jolla Cove, where you can enjoy picturesque coastal views, kayaking, and the chance to see seals and sea lions up close.

Pros:Alan is a great host and promptly responds to every request we have. I also really appreciate his flexibility in extending our stay. The neighborhood is quiet, and all the neighbors we met are kind, friendly, and welcoming. There’s plenty of street parking nearby. The internet is fast and stable. Cons:When we initially arrived, there was a pretty serious ant problem. But after using the baits the host sent us, they were gone within a week. It’s also unclear whether it was due to the nearby trees and bushes or possibly bedbugs, but my husband got quite a few unusual bug bites, especially on two occasions after waking up in the morning.The washer was dirty, and the dishwasher had a persistent odor every time we ran it, even after cleaning it several times with a dishwasher cleaner. In addition, almost all the windows in the house don’t have curtains, including two in the bedrooms. The owner seems reluctant to address this issue, so we had to buy blackout curtains ourselves.

We stayed for a month at this place and really enjoyed our time. It’s clean, located in a quiet neighborhood, and just a few minutes from SDSU and various shops. Target, Walmart, Ross, and Sam's Club are only 1.6 miles away. Family-friendly and highly recommended.
