About this house rental
Up to 12 of your friends & family will enjoy a relaxing visit on the shores of Lake LBJ in our lake house, the adjacent garage apartment and the spacious decks. Direct access to the water and scenic views of the lake await, one hour from many west Austin locations.

Grandmas lake house is being slowly updated every few months... For now you get a great place to stay at much lower prices than many of our neighbors. It is available for families and groups of friends to enjoy all that Lake LBJ has to offer - beautiful views, relaxing breezes, swimming in the cool water, and evenings under the stars.
The main lake house has four bedrooms each with a queen bed, two full bathrooms, a spacious kitchen and dining room, and a large living room for hanging out together when you need a break from the outdoors. Like the other homes on the lake in our neighborhood, our water comes from a well so we provide a reverse osmosis water system in the kitchen to improve the taste.
The garage studio apartment includes a queen bed and two twin beds and a full bathroom with shower. The studio is fronted with a small porch for enjoying the outdoors.
Two large decks are included - one deck attached to the lake house looking over the backyard and lake, and the other on top of two lakeside boat slips and dock that is great for jumping in the water and cooling off!
The boat slips are available for your use - please notify us if you wish to use them - we need to provide additional information for their operation. One is set up for a personal watercraft (e.g., seadoos and jet skis) and the other can accommodate "v" hulled boats up to 20 feet long and approximately 7.5 feet wide.

Pleasant home with all the necessities. Very clean on the inside and fun game room provided hours of entertainment for the whole group. A little more attention could have been paid to the outside areas. on the covered deck some of the cushions need replacing. The deck is also no longer screened in. Excellent communication with the host. Overall we really enjoyed the stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Nice location, plenty of room with bonus game room. Spent most of our time on the deck over the lake and boat dock. Grandkids caught lots of perch.
