About this house rental
Mama Bear's Den is conveniently located across the street from the grocery store, 3 blocks from downtown restaurants & shopping, and an easy 2-minute drive to the hospital. This cottage offers a large yard for your pet and kiddos to play, plenty of off-street parking and a shared picnic area complete with BBQ and firepit. If you need more space, please check out our other listing, Baby Bear's Playhouse.
Mama Bear's Den is a small cottage ideal for two adults, or a couple traveling with one or two children, or two couples. This is a 600 square foot house with a combined kitchenette and seating area, two bedrooms, and a full bathroom. This house has a large deck with a table for outdoor dining. You can take the short trail to the enclosed picnic area where you will find a fire pit surrounded by comfortable seating ideal for toasting marshmallows and roasting hot dogs. There is a charcoal BBQ. The picnic area is a shared space with our other guests and is perfect place to make new friends.
You have access to the whole house and your porch privately for your use. There is a common shared space that includes a fire pit and barbecue area.

If you need more room as in beds, we have a conjoining property called Baby Bear’s playhouse that’s available to rent as well.
This home is a non-smoking space. pets are welcome with a pet cleaning fee applied.

The place was clean and fully met my expectations. Easy to find with great parking. On a more pleasant evening I could have walked to The Palace for drinks or to the little local theatre. The very best coffee in town is basically across the street and of course it’s nice to have Safeway right there to grab dinner options for cooking up in the decently outfitted kitchen. It’s a sweet little spot and I would def stay there again as I’m often in Burns for work.

What a great property! Home was very clean, cozy and comfortable. We felt like we were at home, we even rented the other unit on the property last minute. Property is close to everything you would need.
