About this house rental
This is quintessential London - a historic Georgian House with country feel, mixing tradition and history with clean light contempory interiors and modern conveniences. Newly refurbished.
The perfect balance of having all London has to offer on your door step and feeling away from it all in the cocoon of an exclusive pied a terre apartment.
Accessed through a walled courtyard garden, your private entrance opens to reveal a wow worthy spacious apartment. Arranged over two floors, with floor to ceiling windows ground and first floor.
Downstairs is a fully spec’d kitchen, dining area, living area and cloakroom. Blonde wood stairs lead to a magnificent light filled reading room with floor to ceiling bifold cedar doors opening into your private roof terrace . Furnished with a cocoon chair, bistro table and chairs plus steamer loungers - you can have morning coffee whilst planning your itinerary for the day or evening drinks whilst resting your sight seeing weary legs !
Off the reading room is the master bedroom with grand canopied wrought iron bed and en-suite panelled bathroom
The apartment is integral to the Main house but completely separated and private . The majority of the apartment is courtyard garden facing secluding it from the hubbub of the city outside. The windows to the front, overlook the formal parterre gardens
Externally there is an outdoor room / garage with fitness equipment / table tennis table, wood burner and sofa. Parking by arrangement in the garage or on the street.
Excellent access to public transport or parking for your own car. Walk along Regents canal to sights and sounds like Portobello Market, Little Venice, Marylebone, Nottinghill, even London Zoo or jump on the tube 5 mins walk from the House to wherever takes you fancy from Columbia road Flower market to Kew Gardens. Wembley to the O2 Arena, Horse Guards Parade to Hampton Court.
Eat out at a myriad of central & local resaturants or eat in, in your own dining area or al fresco on the secluded roof-terrace.

This was a fantastic apartment to stay in for our family of three. The master bedroom and ensuite bathroom were beautiful and the couch downstairs was perfect for our son to sleep on. Having multiple outdoor spaces to enjoy was so lovely including the table tennis! Laura was a warm and wonderful host. We wouldn't hesitate to stay in this apartment again.

An adorable apartment in a convenient, quiet and safe area. The home was comfortable, clean and well appointed. Easy access to public transportation to all things London. Also walkable to shops and restaurants. Laura was attentive and helpful with suggestions of places to go and things to do. Highly recommend.

This place is capital C charming! So much natural light, which I love! The outdoor spaces were unbeatable. The whole place was comfortable and cozy. We arrived to find a lovely gift basket with yummy treats, including my new favorite cookies inside! There was also a soft and fluffy loaf of brioche, jam, and butter - a perfect snack! Lisa is a fantastic and thoughtful host. Two bathrooms, one bedroom and one couch to sleep on. It’s not a pull out, but my 9 year old had no problems with that. The couch itself is long, deep, and very comfortable. We didn’t hang out inside very often but I thought this place was a great value. We were able to do laundry here which I appreciated. It’s a 7 min walk to the Kensal Green train station, which was perfect because it got us everywhere we needed to go. It was also within walking distance of two great restaurants, The Whippet Inn and Parlour. The area is very walkable, and in NW London. It’s technically in Brent but it is quite close to Notting Hill and some very chic restaurants there. It was nice staying close to Central London but not IN Central London - quiet at night, more room to spread out, and not nearly as pricy.

Had a fantastic, seven night stay at Laura’s flat while visiting London with my daughter. The apartment is exactly as described in the listing. It is well appointed, very clean, comfortable, and situated near bus and tube stops. We felt safe walking in the area and enjoyed several great restaurants and cafes in the area. It is an easy walk to Notting Hill. Laura is a lovely hostess who was always available should I have a question. This is not a corporate rental. This is a home that is well cared for and a great place to relax. Laura even greeted us with a gift basket to help us get started with a few essentials. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you, Laura!
