This is quintessential London - a historic Georgian House with country feel, mixing tradition and history with clean light contempory interiors and modern conveniences. Newly refurbished.
The perfect balance of having all London has to offer on your door step and feeling away from it all in the cocoon of an exclusive pied a terre apartment.
Accessed through a walled courtyard garden, your private entrance opens to reveal a wow worthy spacious apartment. Arranged over two floors, with floor to ceiling windows ground and first floor.
Downstairs is a fully spec’d kitchen, dining area, living area and cloakroom. Blonde wood stairs lead to a magnificent light filled reading room with floor to ceiling bifold cedar doors opening into your private roof terrace . Furnished with a cocoon chair, bistro table and chairs plus steamer loungers - you can have morning coffee whilst planning your itinerary for the day or evening drinks whilst resting your sight seeing weary legs !
Off the reading room is the master bedroom with grand canopied wrought iron bed and en-suite panelled bathroom
The apartment is integral to the Main house but completely separated and private . The majority of the apartment is courtyard garden facing secluding it from the hubbub of the city outside. The windows to the front, overlook the formal parterre gardens
Externally there is an outdoor room / garage with fitness equipment / table tennis table, wood burner and sofa. Parking by arrangement in the garage or on the street.
Excellent access to public transport or parking for your own car. Walk along Regents canal to sights and sounds like Portobello Market, Little Venice, Marylebone, Nottinghill, even London Zoo or jump on the tube 5 mins walk from the House to wherever takes you fancy from Columbia road Flower market to Kew Gardens. Wembley to the O2 Arena, Horse Guards Parade to Hampton Court.
Eat out at a myriad of central & local resaturants or eat in, in your own dining area or al fresco on the secluded roof-terrace.

The apartment is exactly as advertised, conveniently located, and has all the amenities needed. Beautifully furnished and decorated and the little extras like biscuits, espresso, and wine were a nice touch. Our host was wonderful. Great way to start our trip to the UK.

WHAT A HOUSE AND WHAT A TRIP! Everything was perfect -- the location, the cleanliness, the comfort -- just perfect! Laura and her family were lovely and being close to everything but not in the center of it all was the perfect balance. Laura has beautiful style and taste -- I felt like I was staying in finely curated home. I look forward to booking next time I am in London -- one of the best VRBO's I've been to for sure. Thank you Laura!

It was amazing - I don’t even know where to start. The house was incredibly clean and well decorated (tasteful and not cluttered). The host, Laura, was incredible all around with communication, recommendations, hospitality (including a welcome basket), and providing privacy. The outdoor spaces including a private balcony and shared terrace and larger balcony, were incredible for coffee in the mornings or just taking a breath after a long day. We used the laundry and kitchen and both did everything we needed. Very convenient and easy walk to buses and underground for 30-60 min trip into London for the day. We had a fantastic visit and already want to come back. We were able to walk to local pubs and restaurants which were great. Of special note, the Parlour and Vicki’s. Convenience stores and mini grocers are plentiful if you need anything. Amazing 3!!
