We just spent 3 weeks in the resort.I was not happy about the fact that the booking was through VRBO and then a local property management company took over. So had to provide my credit card information to someone else eventhough VRBO has my CC on file. So there was a bit of confusion at first. It got all sorted out and communication with the local representative, Catharina, was great. She waited for us at the apartment and showed us around, she was just a phone call away during our stay. We had some issues with the A/C and she arranged for a repair man and a cleaner.The apartment is great, very spacious, lots of storage space. Washer with pods, we used it quite a bit.The kitchen is well equipped, we cooked most of our meals. There is no microwave, even though it is advertised. The bedroom has a fan and screens on the windows, so we used the AC in the evening for a bit only.The walk to the beach is enjoyable through the Village part of the resort. Beach is great, about 100 m across. Lots of chairs, but lots of people as well.You get a pass to access the beach, have to show it every time. I printed the pass so I don’t have to carry a phone.We rented a car at the airport, next time we just rent one as needed. Unless you want to drive somewhere everyday it’s not necessary. There is a Hotel in the resort by the beach, where you can rent a car for a day. There is a number of supermarkets close by, the best is Centrum, where you can get anything and more.

Blue Bay Resort is perfectly situated on an historical track of land on Curaçao. The one bedroom condo we stayed at was spacious had a pool, washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen, access to Blue Bay Beach as well as the golf course.
