About this house rental
Completely renovated in 2020, straddling the Gers and the Lot et Garonne.
You will appreciate the charm of its stone walls, house, fireplace, exposed frameworks. Located at the end of a charming winding country road, far from the hustle and bustle, ensuring calm and rest.
The 10 X 5 m swimming pool and its wide beach enjoy a splendid view of the countryside. You will enjoy the freshness of the hundred-year-old trees for a nap or to have your meals.
Each of the 4 bedrooms (maximum capacity for 9 people) has its own bathroom and toilet, guaranteeing maximum compliance with health rules. The new and quality bedding will give you a good night's sleep. A high-performance Wi-Fi connection covers the entire house. Each room has a TNT TV. You will take advantage of the fully equipped kitchen to prepare your meals that you can take inside in the coolness of our stone walls or outside. BBQ is also at your disposal.
From the house, you can enjoy walks on the surrounding paths, along the stream as well as hiking, hiking or cycling routes.
You will stay 5 minutes from the charming village of Astaffort and all the necessary shops.
15 km away you will discover the charming Lectoure, its market, its cathedral, its "antique dealers' village", its famous pastel "bleu de Lectoure", its alleys and ramparts.
18 km away in Agen, you will walk along the banks of the canal and its unmissable Canal Bridge overlooking the Garonne; its narrow streets with half-timbered houses in the historic district, its cathedrals and the 60 hectares of the natural and sports park of Passeligne.
15 km away you will not miss the charming village of La Romieu and its Collegiate Church. Within a radius of a few kms, the Waligator Park / Aqualand, a golf course, two karting circuits, several equestrian centers, and much more.
Come and taste our terroir during the "Farmer's Market" in the surrounding villages and during visits to local producers of Armagnac, Buzet or Bruilhois wines, poultry producers and organic market gardeners.

We stayed at Cedric's property for three weeks, with friends coming to visit during that period.
The house is really nicely set up to allow for entertaining and relaxing; the pool is the perfect temp, the house is cool during hot days and the living room and kitchen are spacious and well laid out. The bedrooms are large and cool during the night which was important for us - we prefer to sleep cold.
Cedric was really helpful and suggested great local markets and restaurants. We realised (only after booking) that there are also michelin starred restaurants nearby, should you wish to dine out in those sort of places too.
The local markets were really excellent and we found ourselves making good use of the kitchen. The furthest we really had to travel was a 20 min drive and that was entirely optional.
The pool really made the experience for us; it's really relaxing to hang out there in the middle of the countryside. It's very private and you do feel like you can switch off.
The place was clean (we also asked to have a cleaner midway through our stay).

Cedric makes every effort to ensure your stay is enjoyable. In a peaceful and calm setting, the house is spacious and well equipped as well as having character and charm. The pool is well maintained and overlooks open fields. The village is a few minutes away by car (Bakery, supermarket...).

The owner Cedric was always reachable and quick to respond to our request. The house is beautiful and equipped with everything you need. The swimming pool was perfectly heated and we spent a lot of time swimming.
