Secluded Cabin with Heated Pool, hot tub, fireplace & so much more

All we can say is WOW! What a fun home away from home. We had so much fun! Pool, hot tub, pool table, ping pong, fire pit but the most fun was the huge kitchen table we were able to sit as a family. It was a perfect place for our big family to celebrate our son’s wedding!

Bauman’s Deep Woods Escape is a wonderful resort-style home in beautiful surroundings. The five bedrooms were a perfect fit for our two families (4 adults, 8 children ranging from 4-18). The pool, hot tub, volleyball court, horseshoes, fire pit, ping pong table and pool table were big hits all around. Emma is a thoughtful host, easy to communicate with, flexible, friendly, and professional. We are so sad to leave!

The home & property are beautiful and very well equipped for large groups. We secured this property in March 2025 for the week of NYE 2026. Upon booking, the pool was advertised, and confirmed by the owner, to have a heated & enclosed pool during the winter months. Our only issue was the accuracy of the listing & communication regarding the pool. We rented this house solely because of the heated & enclosed pool. Unfortunately, upon arrival we found a winterized, non-functioning & non-enclosed pool. It was unusable, and it was not communicated with us prior to arrival despite my asking multiple times the status & temperature of the pool. It was an unfortunate surprise that tainted the excitement of our arrival. The owner visited us and offered a 100% refund based on the mis-communication & our disappointment. It was a very generous offer & it was appreciated; however, we only accepted a 50% refund because we still stayed for a week & enjoyed what this beautiful home & property had to offer. Despite the rough start our group still enjoyed the week together and would consider renting this property again. The beds, bathrooms, recreational amenities, indoor/outdoor kitchen, & sound system were all on point. The home was very clean & the check-in/-out process was very easy. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. We sincerely appreciated her hospitality & generosity when correcting the communication mistake. I would absolutely recommend this property.

This is the second family Christmas we have had an opportunity to enjoy at the Deep Woods Escape. Emma goes out above and beyond to assure a prefect environment for our celebration! The decorations are spot on the atmosphere makes it feel very much like home. Thanks again for such a fantastic experience!
