The vacation home is located in the heart of East Frisia—in Brookmerland. Surrounded by fields, the nearest neighbor is 50 meters away. The property covers 2,000 square meters and offers the chance to relax under the apple trees or by the fire pit. A small road leads to the house. Inside, you’ll find a kitchen that opens directly into the living room. The bathroom has a very large shower—the bedroom offers a peaceful view of the garden and the trees. In the hallway, there is a fireplace that you’re welcome to use after checking with us. The garden is still being landscaped but, depending on the season, offers apples, pears, elderberries, and Japanese raspberries. The North Sea is just about a 45-minute bike ride away.

A Note from Us

Dear Guests—please note that the vacation home primarily offers peace, relaxation, and excellent water quality from Siegelsum. The furnishings, however, are kept simple; not everything in the house is perfectly designed. For example, the laundry room with a washing machine—which you’re more than welcome to use—is just that: a laundry room. Also, please don’t mistake the 2,000-square-meter natural outdoor area—with its very old fruit trees and raspberry bushes—for a designer garden. (We’re working on creating an area with an adventure playground, though.) Unfortunately, guests repeatedly complain about the grass being too tall and things like a poorly grouted tile joint in the bathroom or a slightly misaligned tile on the heated floor.

We’re always annoyed by a bad review. Of course, we take your criticism seriously—for example, we’ve now installed the requested blinds in the living area. However, we have no patience for guests who get annoyed by the roosters’ morning crowing. That’s just part of country life. Another thing we can hardly eliminate is removing all the cobwebs.
The house is nestled in the heart of nature, surrounded by many trees and grasses. And some species of spiders manage to spin their webs in no time at all.
