About this house rental
A beautiful 3 bedroom home on 20 acres of dramatic Costa Rican countryside which includes jungle and farm land.
Situated on the Pacific side of Costa Rica near Jaco, on a mountain just outside of Herradura, with beautiful sandy beaches and the upscale Los Suenos resort which offers dining, sport fishing and a championship golf course. It is a mere 5 minutes car ride to Los Suenos and the beach, and only 8 minutes car ride to the popular tourist center of Jaco with its tours, restaurants, night clubs, and shops. AutoMercado, a North American style supermarket is 3 minutes away.
Relax and enjoy breathtaking views over the valley and the mountains beyond from the patio and pool. Watch for flocks of budgies, and the sunrise and sunset passage of Scarlet Macaws. Listen for Toucans, and watch Social Flycatchers and Mourning Doves come to bathe. Make your unforgettable vacation in this piece of Costa Rican paradise.
The main house has 2 bedrooms with 2 queen-sized beds, and a common bathroom with shower. There is a large newly renovated kitchen and living room. The 3rd bedroom with its separate entrance, 2 queen-sized beds and en-suite bathroom is new, as is the 30’ long pool with seating area, large covered terrace and double garage. The unique custom made cabinets, the ceilings and paneling throughout the home are made from the dramatic Guanacaste wood that came from this property. The doors are carved by local artisans depicting Costa Rican wild life.
Features :
• New pool, covered patio and covered terrace attached to house with 4 outdoor speakers and two large ceiling fans a second terrace at a lower level with a gazebo .
• Air conditioning in all 3 bedrooms, ceiling fans throughout. Bedclothes and towels provided
• Advanced security system.
• New 6 burner gas stove, fridge with ice maker and cool water dispenser, microwave, coffee-maker, toaster, all dishware, pots, and utensils.
• Dining seating for 6 under the covered terrace, 4 chaise lounges, and extra stacking chairs, including some you can take to the beach.
• North American hot water and UV water disinfection system.
• Stereo with 4 internal and 4 external speakers and Internet or more the nightly rate is $150US. A damage deposit of $150 US is charged which is returned to you at the end of your stay, minus any losses or damages.
• Covered parking for two cars with covered walk way to main entrance.
• Barbeque, pool Jacuzzi seating, and 10 meters pool size- can swim lengths in.
• Property managers live at the bottom of the property. The pool is cleaned daily and any necessary property maintenance is done at no charge. They will clean the house if requested for $10 per hour and will do a normal-sized laundry load at their house for $15. Please pay them direct.
Suitability: sleeps up to 8, wheelchair access, no smoking in the house.

We stayed here for 3 days and it rained non stop(during the rainy season) hoeever the house was very warm and inviting. The home felt very modern and well maintained. It felt like a tropical Oasis with the lush vegitation and pool. The pool was very clean and well used by our kids. we are very happy we stayed here

Very peaceful quiet home. This place is exactly what me and my wife are looking for a nice home with a beautiful pool overlooking a quiet valley. Place can be a little hard to find but was a great location for what we were looking for. The caretakers were very friendly and kept the place clean. We will definitely stay here again

We enjoyed our week at the white house. The pool was amazing and was welcome after a day out in the sun. We had visits from toucans and also had a visit from a motmot. And of course lots of bugs on steroids.
Overall it was a great week.

Booked a couple of days while staying in Jaco and we were pretty happy during our stay. The check-in process was a bit of a nightmare as the person they have coming to hand you the keys was not answering their phone and he was hard to get a hold of. We called the property owner and they told us to just wait it out another 15 minutes. After 20-30 min elapsed, we called the owner again, and he did not answer our calls at all, which was frustrating. When the man finally arrived to hand us our keys, he let us know that we were given the wrong number and that was why we couldn't reach him. Anyway, apart from the check in debacle, the outside of the home screams paradise. It is just a magical scenery with wildlife all around you. The pool was very relaxing to hangout in and watch all the macaws and other wildlife. The home itself was a bit outdated. The shower heads barely give out any water, which made bathing a hassle and the living room area of the house and kitchen only have fans and made it feel as if we were in a sauna. There are also several posts around the house reminding you to shut off fans, lights, etc to save energy. The bedrooms were comfy and cool (thankfully).
