Cozy cottage get-away at Lake Winnipesaukee with swim access off dock

I had a fantastic time; I can't say enough. I got a chance to meet the owners as they were using their other property and were in the lake. I got a chance to get into the lake, and it was just amazing. I only with that it was the beginning of the summer so that I could again this summer, stay longer, and get into the lake more. This is a hidden gem, and the house they own on the street is also owned by them. The cottage was perfect for me, one queen bed to enjoy. A family with two kids could stay in there, and larger families could rent the house. I know the skies are gray, they were Wednesday where the temperatures were colder. I swam Tuesday, the air temperature was 71, while the lake was 77. Words can't describe how this place was after making myself take a vacation in over 25 years. I can't wait to vacation here again, and it's a great break from teaching.

We really enjoyed our stay. It’s a great little unit. Location is nice with a view of the bay. Unit is well equipped with all the essentials, and Karen is very responsive. Highly recommend!

We arrived to this very pleasant little lake house after a 4 hour drive and upon opening the door were greeted with a very inviting atmosphere. We fit 2 adults, 2 children, and a 9 month old quite comfortably. It was just exactly the right amount of room for us. We had so much fun utilizing the kayaks and deck/swimming area. Very cool. The kids had a blast and so did we. It was definitely relaxing. The host, Karen, was very attentive and helpful from booking to check out. The cabin was very clean and well kept. We were within walking distance from breakfast, lunch, and ice cream and took advantage of being in the heart of Alton Bay. Our only complaint is that we wished we could stay here for longer! This property and host were great! A minute walk and we were on a large dick overlooking the bay. Great way to finish the day. Karen, the Host, went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect for the stay, long before we arrived. A few different restaurants within walking distance made this ideal.
