Woodside offers a rural location just minutes away from the A38 and the gateway to the Cornish county, including miles of stunning coastal paths, cycle routes, beautiful sandy beaches and open moors! These delightful holiday properties have been decorated and furnished to a very good standard. Set in 27-acres of Cornish countryside, Woodside Stables holiday cottages each have private, enclosed garden areas set around large communal grounds for everyone to enjoy. The outdoor space includes a large lawn area, play area and access to a woodland walk and field. Woodside Stables has been designed to suit all visiting guests from families, couples, children, grandparents and of course you can bring your dog too! Chestnut Cottage has the added bonus of a private hot tub to enjoy all year round.
Local attractions include the famous Eden Project, an amazing family day out, also home to several events throughout the year attracting famous music artists from all over the world. Freathy beach is a 20-minute drive away, or instead, spend an activity filled day at Adrenaline Quarry. St Mellion International Resort is home to 2 championship, 18-hole golf courses, situated just 5 miles from Woodside Stables. Beach 10 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

We had a wonderful stay in Chestnut Cottage. The owners have thought of everything, there wasn’t anything we were without and they even provided for our dog who really made herself at home. The cottage was even better than the photos and is extremely dog friendly.We used it as a base to explore Cornwall and most places we wanted to visit was within an hours drive so perfect for us. It was lovely to come back to the cottage and get into the hot tub after exploring the area and walking parts of the SW Coastal path.

We absolutely loved our holiday in Chestnut! We are already planning our next holiday and will be staying longer next time. The cottage had everything you could possibly need and the surrounding beaches were beautiful. The hot tub was amazing after a long day of exploring and we felt so at home.

Amazing. Claire made us and the dogs very welcome. Everything we needed and more. Peaceful, relaxing 2 night stay. We will definitely try to return with all the family. Thank you.

Claire, our host was really kind and friendly. The cottage was amazing, equipped with all the staff you need. The hot tub was a great addition to our relaxed holiday. Highly recommended to anyone who looking for a beautiful quiet place to relax and discover the surrounding area. Definitely going back next year.
