TUSCAN SUN COTTAGE IN WEST LA..
Nestled beside a large stone swimming pool, this generously-sized studio-style stand-alone private guest house is appointed with rustic romantic details, including an open-beamed ceiling, three pairs of French doors and stone and stucco walls. Perfect for a couple or friends and family, this backyard oasis, filled with orange and lemon trees, rosemary and tea roses will transport you to another place and time as you venture past the large stone wall and enter through the rustic arched wood doors of the backyard gate. Note: this cottage is a private guesthouse, located in the far rear of the property.
***The owners do live in the main house on the same property, so please keep this in mind. Also, this is a large studio space, so there are no separate bedrooms. ***
Enjoy the stone pool, waterfall and stone hot tub: While the pool is NOT heated, it is open year-round. The large 5-person stone hot tub, features effervescent eco-friendly water made super-soft and sparkling clean by ions of silver and copper, plus ozone, and can be heated upon request. Be sure to ask for epsom salts or lavender essential oils to make the experience extra spa-like. Note: Sorry, but the concrete slide is NOT AVAILABLE for guest use.
The cottage's small, but fully efficient sparkling clean kitchenette offers everything you need to enjoy the convenience of cooking quick meals while on vacation, including a large Cosari air fryer/oven, mini refrigerator, microwave, conductive cooktop, Keurig coffee maker (and pour-over carafe), cookware, service ware, basic condiments and more. Dine indoors or out; the cottage table can expand to seat up to 6 people.
Grill and dine outdoors: BBQ memorable meals in the outdoor kitchen, which includes high-end stainless steel BBQ grill, two gas side burners and large French door refrigerator and deep outdoor sink. The bar counter has three chairs for al fresco dining. And a small bistro table with two chairs makes the perfect poolside spot for a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.
Walk to Hot Spots Nearby: including Starbucks, Whole Foods Market, Little Osaka foodie hot spots such as Tatsu Ramen, Ramenya, Oops Sushi, and Brothers and Cousins' street tacos on Sawtelle, and so many more!

Be Close to Everything: With easy access to the 10 and 405 freeways, the cottage is only 6.4 miles from LAX, 4.5 miles to Santa Monica Pier, 8.3 miles from Universal Studios/Universal City, 2.8 miles from UCLA and 39 miles from Disneyland and only .5 mile from the Light Rail on Exposition (Sepulveda or Bundy Station). The Light Rail can get you to the Santa Monica Pier (beach) in 8 minutes or downtown in 25.

Milo and Beth were so kind and accommodating.A little oasis ! Close to everything -quiet neighborhood You do feel like you are in Tuscany

Enjoyed our stay at this cute Tuscan cottage. Milo was very helpful showing us how everything worked. Appreciated the a/c on hot days and heat on cool nights. Sorry we didn't have time for the hottub.

The house was very cute, as pictured. We arrived late after traveling all day and Milo took us around back to the guest house and went over everything in the house. He was very friendly and talkative but we were exhausted and just wanted to get ready for bed. Having a book with all the information on the house would be a geeat option. I had also texted the number to let them know we were arriving but Beth had the only cell and she was at a different location that didn't get good reception. Milo did answer the house phone quickly when we called though. Milo was very friendly and came to our room almost every evening when we got back to see if we needed anything and offer suggestions for what to do and give us fresh oranges off the tree. I traveled with my 2 adult daughters and they were a little creeped out by it, but i think he is just a really talkative, friendly guy who likes to get to know people. If you are wanting a no contact kind of stay this is not the place for you.The neighborhood is really nice but out towards the busy road and overpass is pretty sketchy. So if you want to do any public transit I would take the blue bus, it was very nice and goes right to the beach and you walk through the neighborhood to get there. I am not sure if the hot tub works. You have to have Milo turn it on and when we asked we had a miscommunication about it so we never used it. The beds were comfy and place was clean. We used Uber and the buses to get around and were very pleased with b
