About this apartment rental
Located just a few miles off the main hwy you will find this quiet little hidden gem. The apartment has been newly renovated and includes two bdrms and 1 bath with washer/dryer and full eat-in kitchen. Conveniently located near ATV riding, Norris Lake, hiking and less than an hour from Knoxville, 20 min from restaurants and Super Walmart in Lafollette and only 30-40 min from LMU (Lincoln Memorial University) in Harrogate and Middlesboro.

The property is as advertised. It's updated pretty well. The hosts are quick to respond to questions and very helpful and friendly. It was very quiet even when there were people staying in the unit adjacent.The kitchen has a keurig coffee maker that also makes a full pot, plenty of utensils, and basic spices for cooking along with the pots and pans and dishes and cups. The alliances are all pretty new and work well, and the full size washer and dryer is great.A few negatives. The back door barely locks well and would be very easy to kick in. There is also a *very* strong mildew odor to the apartment. There is an air purifier provided, and it improved the smell after it was running and the windows were open for a while, but if you're sensitive to this, then this property is not for you. Also something to be aware of is that there is no central air conditioner or heater, it is a unit in the living room. The weather was fairly mild during our stay so we had no issues being.hot or cold, but I can imagine it might be worse during the summer or during a cold snap. Overall, we were able to enjoy our stay, but the mildew smell would probably keep me from staying here again.
