About this house rental
Beautiful Cape Cod home with plenty of natural light on a quiet cul-de-sac 300 yds. from a bay beach (Nantucket Sound). Easy access to the Shining Sea Bikeway. The Fresh River, a large creek behind the property, is home to ducks and flows into the Sound. The rear deck overlooking the backyard and creek is fine for relaxing while catching up on that new bestseller, dining, or watching the sunset. 2nd floor master bedroom also overlooking the backyard and creek. There are HVAC units with individual temperature control in each room.
Falmouth highlights: Forty-five minute ferry service to Martha's Vineyard (8 miles across Nantucket Sound) is available from both Falmouth (passenger) and the adjacent town of Woods Hole (passenger/car) providing easy day trips. Falmouth Village has a wide variety of stores, ice cream shops, restaurants, and for the occasional rainy day a fine library.
Woods Hole highlights: Home to the internationally known Oceanographic Institute, WH is also a quaint town with shops, restaurants and a small aquarium. The Institute hosts weekly foreign movies as well as a lecture series on scientific topics.

Great location. Good communication.Good A/C. Very good back yard. Our grandchildren really enjoyed it.A few things could be fixed/replaced (incl outside shower)Better cleaning people are required (my opinion)

Check in was easy communication with Jonathan was awesome. He was easy to reach and took care of the issues that came up.The kitchen it had what we needed we could have used more coffee cups. It needs some TLC updated appliances, cleaners need to do a better job, we did clean cobwebs around the houseOverall the property is in the best location and the host Jonathan is very helpful. I would come back again

This house is perfect for a beach getaway. The neighborhood is very quiet and there was lots of animals to watch. The owner was very responsive to our inquiries.

Generally speaking, the size and layout of this house was suitable for us as a family of 6, the location was ideal, and the host communicated well. That said, we’d like to suggest that the outdoor photo’s be updated to more accurately reflect the back yard landscaping. The shrubs along the creek have grown much taller resulting in a significant block of the view of the creek. A couple of other disappointing things include: deck railing was plastered with bird poop (we decided to avoid eating out there), quick, rough shod repairs here and there (duct tape used to repair bathroom floor). We suggest replacing the headboard in the downstairs full size bed ( annoying rattle every time you move). To conclude, we had an ok week there, but for the expense involved, we expected much better.
