CASA VIA MARE is located on Afandou beach, one of the most famous blue flag beaches in Rhodes Island. Just a short walk 200 metres (2 minutes' walk) from the glorious beach at Afandou with beachfront fish restaurants and cafe bars. CASA VIA MARE is set in a quite place and is the perfect choice for families, groups of friends and couples looking for absolute privacy and a relaxing and rejuvenating holiday. CASA VIA MARE is a luxurious, modern Villa of unique design and position, offering accommodation of 3 spacious air-conditioned bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 external shower, open plan comfortable lounge with a flat 60 inches screen smart TV and kitchen with high end appliances onto a large patio, with barbecue facilities and a 7,00 x 3,50 m private swimming pool in front of the living room. Sophisticated interiors, great outdoors, all equipped to high standards. There is also a wide range of amenities that guests will find useful during their holidays such as Wi-Fi, home cinema, cable TV, washing machine and ironing facilities, private parking. The villa is surrounded by well-kept gardens with a private swimming pool equipped with sunbeds that create the perfect setting to relax under the golden rays of the sun and work on your tan. The large furnished verandas have pergolas and are ideal for gatherings, enjoying breakfast and romantic dinner. Opposite the Villa on the road to the beach there is a mini market with all the basic home supplies. On the High Way, 5 minute drive away from the Villa there is one of the most successful supermarket of the island with excellent prices and ATM service. CASA VIA MARE is approximately 1 km from Afandou village center, with a lovely square in the heart of the village and a wide selection of shops, that offers many conveniences such as supermarkets, restaurants, tavernas, café bars, cocktail bars, bakeries, ATMs, pharmacies and commercial shops, which can be accessed by a mini-train in the peak months. A must see is the beautiful Church of Our Lady Katholiki. Afandou village, one of the largest villages of Rhodes island is located on the east coast between Rhodes Town with Old Town and Lindos village with Acropolis of Lindos and not far from the resorts of Faliraki. It is Ideally positioned to explore the entire island. Afandou village can be reached from the International Airport Diagoras within a 15 minute car driving, and Rhodes Town and Lindos village are a 20 minute drive away. Afandou beach located just a few steps away from the villa has pebbles and sand inviting visitors to relax by the sea making use of the sunbeds and parasols. Right next to Afandou beach you can also find the golf course of the island that presents a great opportunity for some stylish exercise during your holidays. Along this beautiful beach visitors can find café bars and cocktail bars serving cold drinks as well as fish and traditional food restaurants. The crystal clear blue water of the sea deepens suddenly as you walk in, making swimming really exciting and enjoyable. For those who want to do some sightseeing during their holidays, CASA VIA MARE is an excellent base just a short drive from the famous Acropolis of Lindos dating back from the ancient Greek era. Close to the villa you can also find ''The 7 springs'' or “Epta Piges” that is a place of natural beauty and offers visitors a unique opportunity to appreciate the nature and wild life of the island. Rhodes Old Town is a fascinating medieval city, a UNESCO world heritage site and a short 20 minutes’ drive away. Meander around the narrow cobbled streets or window shop along the wide paved Socrates Street. The local famous water park in Faliraki is just a 7 minute drive away and offers a great day of water fun. You will also find a great range of beaches and coves within easy driving distance - Anthony Quinn Bay, Ladiko Beach, and of course the fabulous 4 km long sandy beach of Faliraki. Here you can sample a vast array of water sports and enjoy many boat trips to Rhodes town or just cruising the local bays. The villa is also close to the best beach of the island Tsampika, which stretches over 1 km combining soft, golden sand with crystal clear, shallow waters. Finally for those looking for a taste of night life in Rhodes, Faliraki is the place to visit. Only a short drive from the villa the famous holiday resort of Faliraki offers and endless range of bars and night clubs open until sunrise.

Our stay was wonderful from start to finish. Georgios was incredibly attentive, and a brilliant host. He’d provided a fully stocked fridge for us, knowing we would be arriving late, which was so kind. When we discovered any issue, he’d be there immediately. The villa is stunning and exactly like the photos, except even bigger inside than what you see. It’s beautiful, though rural, so it’s like a haven. Everything worked perfectly. This wasn’t an issue for us as we had a car - you will need one. The local beach is probably a 15/20 minute walk, we didn’t go as it’s not sandy. The local mini mart isn’t great either, but there’s another one just 5 mins drive. Kolymbia, the next town down, is 10 mins drive and a great night out.There are cats, and chickens around but they don’t come near you. The pool area is lovely, it’s not massive but it was fine for our family of 4 and warm and clean. WiFi is not great at all but we all had our own data bundles and I didn’t really want any anyway! Another plus is that you can order food in as most of the local places know the villa! All in all, Georgios and the villa was everything we could hope for, and more, and we would definitely return.

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and location. Perfect in between Lindos and Rhodes. House was amazing with every amenity of a ultra modern home. Only issue was the internet was absolutely horrible…. Almost nonexistant. Also the sheets were flat/non fitted and not even long enough to tuck. Appreciated the fact that the owner purchased foot for breakfast etc! Otherwise great!

We really enjoyed ourselves in Rhodes. The house was as described with good air conditioning, a wonderful pool, and proximity to the beach (3 minute walk). While the house feels rural (chickens, roosters and cats roaming) it was so quiet and pleasant. George was responsive and left us with many snacks and drinks to make our stay even more pleasant. We would recommend.

The house was beautiful and the location was close enough to walk to the beach and was a short drive to Afantou. The property was relatively clean, however you need to be aware of the ants. Someone must have dropped something on the floor in one of the bedrooms before we arrived as there was a swarm of ants around the spot. As our host said, ants are a common phenomenon in Greek country homes and are not harmful, however, there seems to be an underlying issue as ants are in every room. The host provided us with a very good selection of food for breakfast so we didn't have to go to the supermarket right away. There was a broken toilet seat in one of the bathrooms that we reported to our host on the first night. He said he would come the next day to check on it, but it remained broken for our entire stay. The bed in the main bedroom was extremely hard and you could feel the coils which made sleeping difficult. Rhodes is full of stray cats and there were about 10 of them living around the house and making themselves comfortable on the chairs around the pool. At some point some of the cats must have come into the house as one member of our group is allergic to cat hair and had to take allergy pills whenever in the house. The house is located in a rural area and there are roosters that start crowing starting at 1:30am so you have an early morning wake-up call.
