About this house rental
Our home is located right next to the Gila National forest in New Mexico and 45 minutes from the Arizona border. We are completely off the grid; however, solar powers our gourmet kitchen, appliances and television providing modern convenience for such a rustic atmosphere.
Located one mile from the Forest our beautiful vacation home is perfect for a get away from it all vacation. This is a perfect place to unplug. Whether you are a star gazer, hunter, horseman or hiker we offer unparalleled beauty and adventure. Located at 7,300 feet elevation come breath the fresh air and see the milky way at night. Nature is all around with Elk, Antelope, and Deer just to name a few. We are in New Mexico's Unit 15 hunting area. A very sought after area for hunting. We can accommodate horses as we have corrals on the property and endless riding trails in the area. Nature lovers will love to hike through the Gila to witness the wildlife and natural beauty. This area was populated by many different Indian tribes throughout history. Artifacts abound just a short distance away, as well as Anastazi rock dwellings and petroglyphs.
The interior of our home has been custom built and designed by us to include all wood and custom tile work throughout both floors. We are completely off the grid; however, gourmet kitchen, appliances and television powered by solar provide modern convenience for such a rustic atmosphere. You will find the contrast to be perfect. Please note: we DO NOT HAVE WIFI! Perfect way to relax and unplug. However Verizon customers usually have all service of phone and data. I have a Wilson so in certain parts of the house and grounds you can usually get internet.
Our home we call the “Treehouse" has three bedrooms with one King in the master, one double and bunkbed in the second bedroom. Two couches in the living room and a love seat (a child could sleep) The downstairs bedroom has a bunkbed, a full and a single bed. There are 1.5 baths
