About this house rental
13 km from Uzès - 19 km from Nîmes - 35 km from Avignon.
The home’s furnishings and decor are designed to convey the feeling of “living like a king in France.”
A fully equipped kitchen, a dining area with a table and chairs for 6 to 8 people, a living room with a sitting area and TV, as well as 4 double bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom and toilet, a covered garden terrace with seating for 10 people, and a brick barbecue—all designed to make your vacation as pleasant as possible.
The 3,000 m² garden captivates with its shady acacia trees, its south-facing orientation, and the view of an adjacent nature reserve. The pool’s exceptional length (18x4 m) invites you not only to cool off and refresh yourself but also to enjoy a vigorous swim.

The house exceeded expectations, it's even better in real life than in the photos. Spacious, tastefully decorated and the owners have thought of everything, including a well-stocked kitchen, plastic glasses and towels for the pool and even a cool box for picnics and a shopping bag for the market.
In the enormous garden there is a large pool (if you have young kids, be aware there is no shallow end) with plenty of loungers, as well as lots of trees which provide some welcome shade in the hot summer months. There is only one house next door, otherwise you are surrounded by nature and yet still only a 5 minute drive from the supermarket, boulangerie etc.
Nimes and Uzes within easy reach and plenty in the area to keep you busy if you so wish, we were more than happy to spend lazy days by the pool and cosy evenings drinking wine around the dining table.
Damien on hand and very responsive in the case of any issues. Wouldn't hesitate to book again, it was a dream holiday. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay in Anja and Vincent’s bergerie - which was a family trip for 4 adults and 2 young kids. Damien and his wife welcomed us, showed us everything and were kind hosts, on call with lots of local information as well as being producers of excellent olive oil.
The best word to describe the property is probably generous, with lots of kind touches - such as dedicated pool towels and pool tableware, all new and matching tableware, all kitchen mod cons, an 18m pool with alarm, spacious and beautifully decorated bedrooms - one of which is located away from the house for whoever likes more privacy, blankets for the evening etc.
They have thought of everything - this is a true holiday home and not somewhere with the owners’ leftover stuff as you often find.
We could find all we needed in nearby La Calmette and had day trips to lovely Uzes, Nîmes and Arles. All in all, very relaxing. Recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at Anja and Vincent’s place, second year in a row. The property is very comfortable and spacious and with a great swimming pool. We really appreciated the gas BBQ too. Saint Chaptes is a lovely village only 20 mins from Uzes, with lots of great shopping around. Many thanks to the owners and to Damien (the property manager) who was excellent as per usual. Highly recommended !

Good initial communication with the owners
Lovely pool, garden and separate cottage as well as good utility room
Plenty of kitchen utensils
Given the cost of the rental and that we stayed for 2 weeks, would have expected a clean at the end of the first week. Also, little to no basics provided, including refuse sacks, dishwasher tablets, and detergent
WIFI issues from beginning to end. Was told the antenna had broken the weekend before we arrived.
Poor information guide provided on the local region
Subsequent follow up by the owners disappointing.
