About this chalet rental
New 54 m² apartment featuring 2 separate bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a small secure storage room, and a large kitchen/living area.
This property does not have a TV or internet: enjoy the peace and quiet, nature, reading, relaxation, and walks in the forest—during which you might even spot one of the many deer that inhabit the woods!
Bed linens available for rent: 10 € per bed (please request before arrival)
Cleaning fee: 50 €
This house is located in Hourtin on a fenced-in 875 m² lot and offers direct access to the Hourtin-Carcans bike path, which connects to the region’s entire bike network:
- Hourtin town center and its amenities are less than a 5-minute bike ride away,
- Hourtin-Port, with its beach, restaurants, and entertainment, is 15 minutes away,
- Hourtin-Plage is 12 km away.
You can reach the lake via forest trails (a 2-km easy walk)
The proximity to the village of Lachanau allows you to discover a wild, unspoiled area, untouched by mass tourism. Swimming at its small coves is very pleasant and suitable for young children (very shallow for several hundred meters)
You can also try your hand at kitesurfing if the wind is blowing; several schools offer lessons.
We provide two inflatable stand-up paddleboards for you to explore the lake on windless days.
Be sure to stop by Piqueyrot, which offers a different view of the lake as well as starting points for hikes.
Hourtin-Plage is a paradise for surfers and bodyboarders.

We had a great week staying here. A well equipped chalet with bbq and games. Only thing was we didn't know to bring our own bedding.

Really nice play to stay for a week. Right next to the cycle path to be able to access lots in the area. Accomodation is really nice and comfortable with high quality fixtures and fittings.
