We traveled as a multi-generational family for a week over the summer. We loved Sunset Island and would stay again. We took advantage of the pool, small bay beaches and programming like game night. The pool side food / drink was good and reasonably priced. The coffee / snack / ice cream shop was a fun treat. Instacart delivered groceries very easily and quickly. The nearby dining and beach shops were easy to get to and had all we needed for the week. Overall, it was nice to have a place to relax and hang out together as a family.I was surprised and irritated by our check in. Imagine this . . . you drive from various parts of the midwest and finally arrive to the vacation rental you spent thousands to rent for the week. Due to your planning - the groceries arrive a few minutes after you do. You explore the house, put away all the groceries, unload the car with your luggage and beach supplies. You order a pizza and eat while catching up with your family. After an exhausting day you go to get into your beds - only to discover that they are fully made WITHOUT any sheets. You discover that they deliver the sheets to the home and you have to strip and make every bed before you can sleep. What a stupid thing to do - the renter must make all the beds?? Along those same lines - they provide towels in the same way and you have to put them in each bath; no beach or pool towels provided. Parking pass was confusing also; limited place to park 3 cars (2 was fine).

The property was clean and all the appliances worked great. The bedrooms were comfortable, bathrooms perfectly functional and clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Overall this property had everything our family was looking for, close location to the pool and bay, amazing sunset views, lots of space and balconies to find yourself some alone time. We didn’t even go to the beach because everything was so perfect on Sunset Island. The vibes were immaculate. I would be thrilled to have my family stay here every year. 12/10 stars

This property is a great rental for our multigenerational family of 11. Enough rooms for everyone including children who like to sleep together. Has everything we needed for the week this summer. Good location to the little beach on the bay. Kids could walk back and forth to the house easily. Definitely recommend it!

The place was nice but owner had control over the A/C and the 2nd level was very hot and uncomfortable to sleep. Also living room furniture really needs to be replaced, it’s old and there was not enough seating.
