We stayed at the apartment in October 2011, with our 2 year old son. The apartment is really lovely, very well kitted out and very spacious. It was spotlessly clean. We were also provided with towels and all the bed linen. we only stayed there for a week and the apartment was cleaned during our stay.
The owners were very helpful and accommodating - our flight got in early and Claire came to meet and let us into the apartment early. We were able to use the facilities at Villa Francia (which is next door). Our son loved going to the pool and there is a childrens play area, as well as tennis courts etc.
We had a car - so cannot comment on how long it would take to walk into Cannes. In the car, it was a 5 minute drive and parking is relatively cheap in Cannes. I am glad we stayed here rather than the centre of Cannes which is really busy with the MIPCOM conference going on. Also glad we went off season - the weather was approx. 25 degs all week and the facilities were relatively quiet. I can imagine this place gets really busy in peak season.
I would definitely recommend this apartment for anyone looking to visit Nice, Cannes and surrounding areas
