The only instruction to pick up the key was to pick it up at the office, and if there was any trouble after hours, to call the maintenance man. I arrived at 11pm due to traffic delays, and the office was locked with no instruction on how to get the key. I made several calls and texts each to the host and the maintenance man. 30 minutes later, the host texted back saying the maintenence man was asleep, and she apologized for my inconvenience. Because it was the state track championship that weekend, no hotels had availability in the area. At 1am I found a Super 8 in Matoon, about 20 minutes away, that had a room. The host refunded me for the one night and she gave me instructions on how to get the key the following day, this time with a code to the door to get the key if it was after-hours (which of course should have been provided in the first place). I stayed there one night and it was great once I was able to get in. We ended up leaving a day early. The apartment was spacious and comfortable with coffee which was nice, decorated nicely. Listing should have instructions for after hours checking in.
