Villa Emanuel - Holiday home in Salento

Highly recommend this apartment. Stayed for two weeks in July 2015. The apartment is modern and clean and very well located to access both the sandy beaches and the coastline above Leuca as well as for trips to Lecce and Gallipoli. We had a fantastic time with our three young children. The owner is extremely helpful and provided an additional bed at no cost. The apartment off a main road which is great for quick access but is is located in a olive grove about 100 metres back from the road and is quiet. The apartment is attached to the owner's house but they are discrete and we didn't really see them at all (just once a day when they fed the dog). The apartment had a a good WiFi connection, BBQ and an outdoor shower, air-conditioning (single unit in the living room - but cools the whole apartment with the doors open) and a well furnished kitchen. There are two supermarkets within around 500m including one that opened on Sundays. The area is lovely. Mainly went for the sandy beaches but our children loved the rocky coves above Leuca where there are lots of small swimming spots carved into the rocks and deep clear water. The 'Maldives of the Salento' is around 25 mins away and the closest beach above leuca just 15 mins away.
