About this apartment rental

Spacious, modern, comfortable, cozy, fully equipped apartment, 5 minutes walk from the center of Funchal, the Old Town, the Farmers Market, the Church of the College, Town Hall, etc. Also a 5-minute drive from the highway between the airport and Funchal. Very well located.

Lovely characterful property, with nice lounge and dining area, well equipped kitchen & private outside space which was a great suntrap, just off the kitchen. The apartment is in the basement of the main house, which is set in a private gated garden so secure. The lovely dog Ziggy got used to us straight away & we had no trouble going in and out of the gate. It's a bit of a hill to get up to the house from old town, but that's typical of Funchal I would say. It's only a 8 minute walk to the Farmers market and lots of the sights, so for us, perfectly located.
