About this apartment rental
Immo Barneda Roses .Our very nice spacious apartment is located on the 1st floor. Access from the garden to the sea circle path, which leads you directly to the beach of Canyelles Petites.
The apartment
- Spacious apartment on the first floor, very well equipped with attention to all the details.
- Living / dining room with large picture window which opens onto the terrace with splendid sea views. A sofa bed, two sofas, table, 6 chairs, sideboard and side tables. Satellite TV (free channels in all languages). Direct WiFi (free).
- sunny with table and chairs, and spectacular view of the Bay of Roses.
- Fully fitted American kitchen, with 4 hotplates oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge / freezer, all necessary utensils and storage cupboards at the top and bottom.
- A bedroom with a large bed of 1.50m, wardrobe,
- Another bedroom with two single beds, new mattresses this year.
- 2 bathrooms (bath, shower, sink, WC).
We offer the option for you to bring your own sheets and towels or you can opt for our service with a supplement of €15 sheets per bed and €10 towels per person.

- Direct access to the sea circle path which leads to the pretty fine sandy beach of Canyelles Petites. On the beach are small summer bars and restaurants.
LOCATION IN ROSAS
Residence Mare Nostrum is located between Canyelles Petites and Rosas. 5 minutes on foot along the circular path and you arrive at Canyelles beach, and 2 km in the other direction and you arrive at Roses, a typical old fishing village, converted into a cosmopolitan holiday town, while retaining its old world charm. In particular its long promenade lined with palm trees, its cafes with their large terraces seen from the sea, its pedestrian streets and their small shops and bistros, and its fishing port which gives an appointment to the fishing boats by returning every evening between 17. 00h and 18. 00h.
In Roses there is a mini golf course with a children's park, several large supermarkets, night bars, disco, water park, go-karting, and boat trips.
A few kilometers to the north, along the coast, and you come to some pretty little coves, with sandy beaches and turquoise water. Sea excursions depart from the port, to the Medas Islands marine reserve to the south, or "pirate journeys" to small, more secluded coves in the pure Costa Brava to the north.
Roses today is a small autonomous town with all kinds of shops; supermarkets, banks, shops, restaurants, schools, medical center, private doctors, dentists, hairdressers, veterinarian.

Nice property in very good location. Nice restaurants near by.
The property felt a little tired with a few things that brought my score down to a 4
One of the bathroom doors could not be closed at all. It has clearly been like that for sometime.
Corded clothes dryer on the balcony needs replacing
I would supply bath mats as the baths are very slippery when having a shower
There is an electrical box (high up) that really should have a cover over it.

I spent a week at this nice flat in La Roses, and we really enjoyed ourselves. The flat is large and airy, and the view from the balcony was amazing. We all loved going to bed listening to the Mediterranean washing over the rocks. The best beach is definately the smaller one - turn left at the pathway outside the flat - with beautiful waters and only very limited souvenir shops.

The description of the apartment is accurate. A clean apartment, cosy furnished and decorated, situated a quiet neighborhood.
We most enjoyed the great view over the bay from the spacious balcony . You hear the weaves and smell the sea! The trees around the typical mediterranean garden offer a certain degree of privacy.
In contrast to the large generous living room, the kitchen is rather small but adequately equipped for basic cooking.
The large master bedroom is equipped with a comfortable kings size bed. The double window also provide a beautiful view on the sea.
Our two adolescents were not crazy about the 2nd bedroom. The room is very small and the uncomfortable bunk beds not only taking up most space of the room, but also preventing to fully open the window. During the warm summer, it is preventing you from getting sufficient airflow for cooling the room overnight.
While the sand beach is nearby, we preferred swimming between the rocks, directly behind the building.
You don't need the car for basic things, just take the walkway to the beach, where you also find a local shop, bread. That walkway is following a route over the cliffs, so you have stairs and slopes on in several places.
The municipal market in the center of roses at only 10 minutes by car, is offering good products at a fair price.
