## Neighborhood
Zandvoort has something to offer for almost everyone. From lots of beach clubs and restaurants in summer, where you can have great food and drinks to more quietness to enjoy nature in the winter times. Generally, all you need is closeby and mostly in walking distance. What are you looking for in your trip?
The village is embedded by two National Parks; De Waterleidingduinen and Kennemerduinen. So besides strolling the beach those are two great areas to walk or cycle. There's so much more you can do! For instance mountain-biking around the race-track, learning how to wave- or kitesurf and you can even get your PADI. Did you know that Zandvoort also has a nude beach as well?
We also have a great race-track called "Circuit Park Zandvoort" (1.2 km), Owned by a member of the Dutch Royal family. They organize a lot of activities and festivities there, like DTM and Historic Grand Prix. Maybe you want to get your race-license?
Last but not least, from Zandvoort you can easily get to Amsterdam by public transport which allows you to combine an exciting citytrip with a relaxed getaway next to the beach.

Zandvoort aan Zee has its own train station to which you can get in just 27 minutes from Amsterdam Central and 45 minutes from Schiphol Airport. The train station is at a 4 minute walking distance from the accommodation. There is a direct line to Haarlem as well. Depending on your plans, public transport will get you around very well. We will share a handy website to plan your route.

It is a very beautiful and cozy studio and we enjoyed staying at this accommodation. The beach is very close and also the little city center is only 5 minutes by walk.
We had a great time and would come back!

We visited in February. So it's proximity to the beach was not our main priority. If the beach is important to you, it is just footsteps across the road to the beach and the beach cafe. We used the accommodation as a quiet base for visiting Amsterdam and Haarlem. The train station is about 800 meters walk away. It was interesting sharing the commute, largely with locals, rather than fellow tourists. The Supermarket is handy and we tried some of the local restaurants. The Lebanese one was a good find.
The accommodation was ideal for a couple. Its facilities are adequate and clean. Be mindful that the staircase is narrow so not ideal if you have mobility issues. We used it as a place to cook, shower and sleep in. If you want a luxurious spa, then look elsewhere and pay a lot more. This was a fair price for good accommodation. We would use it again and recommend it to friends.

+Quite stylish/comfy furnished
-Studio could be better equipped (for e.g kitchen - no salt/pepper available),
-Shower is „flooding“ the bathroom
-It can be quite noisy if it’s windy since the flat is located under the roof
Overall: price-value ratio is okay
