About this house rental
Quiet hidden country Resort home. In the middle of local Amish community. Summertime, enjoy farm fresh Amish grown produce n flowers right down the road. We are also just 30 minutes from the heart of Holmes County. Largest Amish community in the world. We are 45 mins to Cleveland airport, 1.5 hrs N of Columbus, and 1.5 hr from Cedar Point. This is the perfect place for friends and family to get together and relax, either just sitting under the shade trees or by the heated indoor pool or in the cozy octagon sunroom. Outside grounds are perfect place for outdoor wedding or reception or family reunions. Please contact us if you need more space than what is at this location.

The indoor pool is a wonderful amenity. Our kids, ages 17- 4, so enjoyed it as well as us adults.

Wonderful secluded, spacious, and clean resort home! Almost every room has their own bathroom which is awesome! The pool was amazing and very clean! The host was very timely and helpful with all communication. Highly recommend!

It was very nice overall. It was a little remote when I arrived and stayed the first night on my own, but it was a very safe location when my granddaughters arrived. Spiral steps were not a huge it with some larger folks and children, but nice bedrooms and baths. Overall, I give it a 4.5.

Overall, the property worked for what we needed, but we can't give it a 5. The pool was wonderful and a hit with everyone there. We stayed with my extended family for my son's wedding, and I received multiple comments about how "dirty" areas of the property were - specifically the floors, carpets, and several bathrooms. I found hair from previous guests in the shower, around the sink in the bathroom, and under the comforter/sheet in the bed in our room. Check in was difficult - the door code given was incorrect, and the property owner said they were not able to update the information through Vrbo. The directions for the pool were great to have, as were the expectations from the owners for cleanup. There is a lack of comfortable seating, especially for a property which can host many guests at one time. Besides bedrooms, there was only one room with a sectional and a chair, and the remainder of the property was dining style seating and tables, or benches in the pool area. The property has wi-fi, but the one tv available is from the 80's. Additionally, the spiral staircaise up to the 3rd level was extremely difficult to navigate. The tightness of the spiral and narrow width of the steps made it difficult for even the average/smaller sized person. Anyone with a little "meat on their bones" will not be comfortable using the staircase, and getting luggage up was not fun. The general consensus was that the pool made the property worth it, but we would not stay again.
