BEAUTIFUL HOUSE FOR RENT FOR YOUR HOLIDAYS

The house was lovely, clean, and well-located — we really enjoyed our stay. However, the very hot weather made it hard to sleep without air conditioning or fans. Also, the lack of mosquito nets meant we had to keep windows closed, and we had some issues with hornets and wasps getting inside. Overall, a great place, but would be more comfortable with a few small improvements.

It's a pity because the place itself would have potential; the house is spacious with many rooms and a beautiful view; it's also beasically two separate apartments, one upstairs and one downstairs (but downstairs doesn't have the kitchen). Unfortunately the house is not properly taken care of. We arrived at the house and no one came to meet us, we were just told where to find the keys (and that's the first time this happened to us); same when we left so in all the period we were there we never met with the owners/custodian of the house. The main problem though was that the house was dirty; travelling with a pregnant wife and a young kid (less than 2 years old) that was a big problem; we had to basically clean and wash everything ourselves; you can see that some places inside have never been dusted (you could pass a finger on the forniture and it would have turned black); let's not even talk about what you could see under the sofa... All the doors to the terrace were not properly closing and that was a problem with a little kid. In the terrace (that was dirty also with stains of fat) there was a grill (gas one) completely unusable by how dirty it was, i mean really disgusting; we complained and we have been told that cleaning the grill was the responsability of previous guests...i wonder how long since some guest had the courage of cleaning it or using it for the last time... Even the pool area was all disordered with chairs and sdraio scattered all around like nobody even cared to tidy it up a bit; for the pool itself there is a person coming weekly to clean it and they actually also came on request once as the day after we arrived due to a storm it got really dirty, so i guess that's a positive; on the other side the pool is not warmed water (as indicated in the announce) so it was too cold to use it (beginning of September). As i said it's a pity because if the property was better taken care of it would be a great place to stay! But as per our experience we can't recommend it at least not for families with young kids.
