The Castello Di Montemasso is a beautiful place with nice staffs. Their breakfast is awesome.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with exceptional hospitality. The staff is outstanding, and we must give special recognition to Ivan and Sanja, whose professionalism, kindness, and genuine care made our stay unforgettable. They go above and beyond in every detail — every smile, every gesture reflects their passion and dedication. The place itself is magical, a true journey back in time. Every corner is rich with history, charm, and authenticity. The cleanliness is impeccable, and the attention to detail is remarkable. The food is excellent, full of flavor and prepared with love. Without a doubt, this is the best place we have ever stayed — a perfect combination of beauty, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality. We can’t wait to come back!

Hardly ever write a review, but this experience necessitated one. Tania and Tullio made us most welcome and we appreciated their service mindedness that whispered rather than shouted. They went the extra distance to make us feel at home. We had a lovely room: clean and atmospheric with a gorgeous view of Florence 20km in the distance with the city buried in its nest from the surrounding hills. On a clear day, we even saw the Duomo from the terrace. So, binoculars are a useful addition to your packing. Breakfast was outstanding with carefully selected Tuscan suppliers. The best agriturismo breakfast buffet I have had in many years of travelling; better than most hotels like the Hotel Paris in Florence, which we had just been to. Only issue is the gravel/stone road leading to the property. There are a couple ways up but only one which is manageable. It is still tricky though. I suggest phoning ahead to get an explanation on how to access the right road. We took the wrong one on the first day (suggested by Google Maps) and ended up struggling. Notwithstanding, all in all it was a wonderful, and more important, a memorable, three-night stay. Thank you Tania and Tullio: you were attentive, discreet, and informative hosts. Andrew and Vera
