Historic Home Overlooking Lake Granbury and steps from the square... The James H. Doyle House was designated a Granbury Historical Landmark by the City of Granbury Historic Commission November 2, 1999. The home is one of the few remaining large homes built in Granbury before 1900 still here The "Captain's House" - built back in 1875, located in historic district, and just steps from the square!

Captain's House was beautiful, peaceful, convient to downtown and lake. Tina was very accommodating and gracious. We will definitely come again for antiquing and relaxing stay.

I stayed one night in this wonderful bed & breakfast! I was meeting friends at the square for an after work get together. The outdoor area served a very lovely setting for myself and my co-workers after we closed down the bars downtown! Tony was amazing, met me in the parking lot for check in, and even helped me get back into my room when I accidently locked myself out WITHOUT MY PHONE. I am not quite sure what in the world I would have done without him. The clean comfortable room I would rate much higher than five stars, if I was able! Highly recommending and will return!

Property was very nice. On the lake as well as a short walk to the town square. The room was nice and the bed very comfortable. Owners were very nice and accommodating.
