Vacation in Toscolano Maderno - 50 meters from the lake. With swimming pool.

Very modern and clean apartment, greatly stuffed with everything needed. Perfect Pool Area Very close to the lake and to restaurants Very nice and helpful owners, communication was great. 100% recommendations

Appartment well presented. However, the publicity did make us think that the patio area/ balcony faced the swimming pool and lake. On reading the print it did say it faced the mountains - but omitted to comment that you mainly looked onto a car park and other appartments/ accommodation. Somewhat annoying that there is allocated parking available (underground) which we were shown by the local representative/ contact - but we were unable to use. Instead we had to pay Euro7.20 a day to park outside. Both this appartment, and a previous one we have rented this year, had some information available on local attractions - however neither had any comprehensive information on the appartment and facilities. i.e. How to deal with rubbish and recylcing. How parking operates in the Toscolano area. How to book a ferry trip. Etc etc. We were also surprised that a modern appartment in this part of the world was not supplied with air conditioning. We did have a tower fan (apparently brand new) that decided to break down midway through our stay. We thought it might have been replaced - but unfortunately it wasn't and hence did make for a somewhat warm last evening/ night in the appartment.
