This house was in a nice location. We were with in an hour for hiking all over White, Jericho, and Washington mountains. It was 30 mins to Jeep badge trail also! Very comfortable accommodations! Beautiful star gazing at night:)

We had a lovely family vacation at this cottage! It was perfectly clean and had amazing views on both levels of the pond. There was lots to do for both kids and adults, and the cottage came stocked with a lot of amenities. There were also games which the littles enjoyed very much.

Knotty Pine Cottage is the perfect escape from the city. The house is wonderful & the hosts have all the amenities you need for your stay. The views from the deck and 2nd floor of the home are spectacular. You can spend time on the pond kayaking, canoeing or dangling your feet in the water while sitting on the sturdy dock. You can also take advantage of the pretty landscape by sitting at the picnic table or at the adorable seating area with firepit the hosts have created. The appeal of the house is how out of the way it is but, be aware, it is quite a drive to restaurants or shops, so your time is best spent at this beautiful property. The grill on the deck is convenient & the kitchen is stocked with all you need for cooking. We do not fish but that is a popular activity on South Ponds. The home is spacious, clean & has very comfortable furniture. My favorite thing to do was spend early mornings on the deck watching the sun filter through the trees listening to the variety of birds. We are so happy we discovered this gem in the White Mountains!
