The acacia dryer in Saint Léon sur Vézère was built in the 1960s, it lived the heyday of tobacco until the early 2000s. As this crop gradually disappeared from the Périgord landscape, it was used for several years as a storage warehouse. In 2017, seeing this building deteriorate over time and in order to avoid its disappearance, the current owners will embark on a real adventure to rehabilitate and safeguard this old agricultural monument. After 4 years of intense work in collaboration with local craftsmen, the dryer is now composed of 4 apartments, each with covered terraces.
The apartment "Les chênes verts" located on the first floor on the north side is equipped with all comforts, it has 2 bedrooms of 11m2: one with 1 double bed of 160x200 and the other with 2 beds of 90x200, 1 separate toilet, 1 bathroom with shower and double sink sink as well as a large kitchen living area of 40m2.
The owners live next door.
Our pet friends are not allowed.
The swimming pool shared with the other 3 cottages, is open from 9 am to 7:30 pm in July and August and from 9 am to 6:30 pm in mid season. It is accessible from mid-May to the end of September.
Options:
bed linen rental, 13 euros per pair,
travel cot, 10 euros per week,
baby chair, 10 euros per week.
Cleaning fee, 60 euros.

Jerome and Christelle welcomed us to their beautiful place, a short walk from a vibrant and pretty village, St Léon. The apartment was impeccably clean and very well stocked with all things you need. The pool was also perfect. Jerome and Christelle gave us lots of information about the local area, things to do, restaurant recommendations etc. We had a very happy family holiday and hope to come back to visit again!
